Today was a sea-based rescue training session between two agencies. Vindcurse and Selkie. Two near opposites. A flashy hero who seemingly has a negative view of heroics, and a mutant hero who played for the camera. Still, they were correct, that it would be best to get experience in all areas of heroics. And that was what today's endeavor would be all about. There aren't many situations where his quirk would be useful for this environment, but he still resolved to give it his best.

When he arrived, Tsu and Kaminari were already there. Izuku called to them, good naturedly. "You beat me for once."

Kaminari rubbed the back of his neck out of nervousness. "Yesterday was a bit of a wake up call, to be honest."

"Fair enough." He glanced at his other classmate. "Will you be warm enough for this? The ocean up here is rather cold."
She considered this, but then committed to this exercise regardless. "While I'll be at risk of hibernation, I think I will be fine, ribbit."

The voice of the Musician aspect of their lead hero called to them. "Well, if you do get too cold, we'll pull you out. There's nothing wrong with you sitting out if you have to. Not everyone can work in every environment." To those who were waiting, mainly his sidekicks, he called to them: "Alright people! Now's our time to rock and roll. Those who are assigned to the exercise, come with me. Those who aren't already know what they're doing today." During the rush, Izuku watched as each of them moved diligently to prepare without a moments hesitation.

On the way there, they asked a bunch of questions, and he answered them.

Shivering for dramatic effect, the gilded hero put his hands in his pockets. "Weather's rather chilly today. Asui, you can watch if you want. I'm not letting a student get hurt on my watch. Kaminari, this exercise is to help those with both suitable and unsuitable quirks. Yours and Midoriya's included."

"What's that thing?" The blonde in question pointed to a large olive green device hanging on the back of the wall of their transport.

With all due seriousness, the Musician stated, a certain foreboding leaking its way into the van. "That is something you should hope I never need to use."

And Denki hung onto every word. "Really?"

Nodding, the man explained, "I have an arsenal at my disposal, if you haven't noticed. My quirk doesn't allow me to have any extra abilities, so I have guns and weapons to upgrade my combat efficiency. That is one such weapon. Don't touch." Musician glanced outside the window, and smiled slightly, seeing a familiar building, at least to him. "Ah, looks like we're here. Good."

Selkie was a pro hero who lived up to his name, looking like a ginormous seal wearing a wetsuit. One that Tsu had professed that she had interest in interning with until Izuku offered Vindcurse. Standing tall, his blubber definitely made him appear... rotund... but that didn't interfere with his bearing... or his speech. "Alright gentlemen. And ladies. It's good to see you here again for the annual joint exercise. Are you ready?" The numerous sidekicks didn't say anything, but agreed silently... and the one Shiketsu intern looked morose. Only Kaminari acted exuberant in any way, but that was due to his natural personality. Something the seal man took in stride. "It's good that at least one of you is excited for this. The scenario is this: You will be grouped randomly, and sent to retrieve one of the 5 scuttled ships out there. They will have dummies on them that will have fake blood and the works. You will treat them and bring them back safely. Straightforward practice. Even if you don't think you'll work out on the seas like my agency, you'll still gain practice with necessary skills like treating wounded civilians and getting them to safety. Your target will be sent to your boat's GPS. Alright, here are the groups."
