Finally back in the one place Izuku could reasonably call home... he sat down onto a sofa in the UA Dorm's common room. Arms behind his head, he sighed, "Ah, it's good to be back!"
Denki flopped down next to him, nearly mimicking his words: "You said it! That internship was tough..."
Tsu, instead, made her way to the kitchen, reminding the two of them... one more than the other: "You two do realize everyone will ask about it, ribbit. And Momo was extremely worried." It was clear that the girls may have had their own group chat, as Denki was confused by that. That... or she was predicting Momo's emotions.Something he should have done instead, as he slapped his skull with a single palm to the forehead. "Oh, right..." After that, Izuku pulled out his phone and immediately went to texting her.
MyVamp is online.
MyVamp : Sorry about not texting. The police didn't know I was in the UA villain rehab program, and arrested me.
DeliciousSnack is online
DeliciousSnack : It's alright. I'm just glad that everything turned out alright. We do have to talk when I get back.
MyVamp : About what?
DeliciousSnack : You have to meet my parents, remember? It was going to happen after the Internships.
MyVamp : Oh... right...
Izuku started to sweat nervously. He'd never been this nervous since his breakdown. Meeting her parents? They'll hate me for sure. After all... I'm... me... and even though I took down Stain, the scene wasn't exactly bloodless...
"Hey, Mido, you allright?" Cursing internally, he had completely forgotten that Denki and Tsu were there. And due to that, the blond was calling his reaction out publicly. Thankfully, before anyone else from class arrived.
"Um... yeah... I'm fine... I just have to make a call..." He got up and left the room in a bit of a hurry.
Denki watched him leave, still stumped as to why his actions changed... so drastically. "What's got him so jumpy?"
Tsu spoke as she sat down on a different chair, glass of juice in hand, smugly stating: "I think it's because he just remembered he has to meet Momo's parents, ribbit."
Raising an eyebrow, he asked, still confused. "Wait, what? Since when?"And the answer was just as simple as it should have been. "Since they were dating, ribbit."
"Oh, right." He laughed quietly, "I didn't forget..."
Tsu, however, bluntly tore his excuse apart. Because... "You did."
"Hey!"
When Izuku got to his room, he locked the door and called Emi, his foster mother. She picked it up immediately, and shouted into it. To be fair, she was absolutely worried sick for him, and it showed in her voice alone. Something to prize, Izuku realized... "Izuku! It's been too long! Are you alright?! I haven't heard anything, and neither has Sho!"
When given a time to speak, he replied back: "Relax, I'm fine. Internships ended and everything's fine..."
"But..." There was, of course, the massive elephant in the room. One that made complete sense, but still...
He sighed, and calmly explained the situation. "I know I got the spotlight. I didn't want it, but at least people don't have to worry that I'll strike randomly, I guess... Now, onto the main issue."Something about his tone made her... eager. "Ooh, what is it?"
Embarrassed... he explained the situation, hinting first at what this would involved. "I want your help. It's about Momo's parents..."
Excited, she immediately set to making plans in her head, "Ah, it's time, isn't it? To invite them over!"
