Lisa stuffed another chip into her mouth and continued, her tone more serious now. “I was thinking… maybe we should visit some newly built skyscrapers. That way, we can see what materials they use and get a better understanding of the construction process.”

Jisoo, thinking this over, paused mid-chew. “Do you know anyone who can help us with that?” She was curious, but she also remembered how much Lisa’s unofficial fiancé, Taehyung, could be involved in something like this. But she quickly dismissed the thought.

Lisa's eyes lit up at the idea, her face lighting up with excitement. “Of course I do! Taehyung oppa! He’ll definitely help us. I mean, he’s the CEO of Kim’s Skyscrapers. He knows all about construction.”

Jisoo couldn’t help but feel a bit uneasy hearing Taehyung’s name. She didn’t want to be reminded of last night’s confrontation—of his arrogant attitude and his overwhelming presence that always seemed to unsettle her. The idea of asking him for help made her stomach churn.

“I don’t think it’s right. We shouldn’t bother him,” Jisoo said, her voice more cautious than she intended. She wiped her mouth with a napkin and took a deep breath. After everything that had happened with Taehyung, she wasn’t sure she wanted to engage with him again.

Lisa, however, was completely unbothered. “No worries! Oppa will always make time for me. Not to mention, he is my fiancé,” she said with a proud grin, clearly oblivious to the tension in Jisoo’s expression.

Jisoo paused, trying to keep her emotions in check. She wasn’t about to let her feelings for Taehyung cloud her judgment, but she knew well enough that Lisa had a unique relationship with him. Even if Jisoo didn’t care for the man, it was clear Lisa was comfortable asking him for help.

“Are you sure you want to ask him for this?” Jisoo asked, her voice quieter now. She felt a pang of discomfort just at the thought.

“Of course! He’ll be happy to help,” Lisa reassured her, oblivious to the undercurrent of tension.

As soon as Lisa slid into the car, she handed Taehyung a file, her face glowing with her usual sweet and innocent smile. She was excited but also a little nervous, knowing she was about to ask him for a favor.

"Oppa, I need your help," she said, her voice light and casual, though her eyes betrayed the hope she had in her request.

Taehyung, always the protective and caring figure in her life, immediately nodded without hesitation. He had always treated Lisa like his little sister—someone he cared about deeply and wanted to protect. Despite his reputation as a playboy, Lisa had always been different for him. He never behaved that way with her. He was her gentleman, always.

"For what?" Taehyung asked, glancing at her briefly before turning his attention back to the road.

Lisa leaned in, her excitement building as she explained. "It's for our group assignment. We're supposed to gather information on skyscrapers, the materials they use, and all that... and we really need help."

Taehyung nodded, his expression serious. Without a moment's hesitation, he picked up his phone and dialed a number. He didn’t need to say much; the person on the other end knew exactly what he meant.

“Yes, sir,” came the reply, and Taehyung’s expression remained unchanged.

“It’s done,” Taehyung said confidently as he hung up the phone. "Tomorrow, you’ll have everything you need. My assistant will take care of it for you."
