" I shouldn't be jealous, you are not even mine........"

;-) Chapter 14

The saying "Let bygones be bygones" didn't apply to Taehyung. Days had passed, and he found himself still waiting for Jisoo's reply. He wasn’t the type to be so patient or considerate for anyone, but for her, he was willing to wait. He wasn’t going to push her, but the uncertainty was starting to eat at him.

Thankfully, Lisa played an indirect role in resolving his dilemma. She had been planning to go to Wanna Hangout, Jisoo's father's café, for a while. With Jisoo's mom back from the hospital, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to reconnect. The twins and Lisa all decided to join her for the outing, and even better, Jungkook would be spending the week in Seoul—something that made Lisa extra happy.

When they arrived at Wanna Hangout, they found Jisoo already there, sitting with someone. The guy had only just taken his seat, but it was clear he was already quite comfortable.

"Jisoo, you... you’re Eunwoo, right?" Lisa asked, startling Jisoo with her sudden appearance, followed by the twin brothers.

The man—Eunwoo—looked up, offering a friendly smile. He stood and extended his hand for a handshake.

"Long time no see... didn’t know I was this famous," he joked with a wink at Lisa, who rolled her eyes playfully and took a seat beside Jisoo, with the twin brothers following suit, clearly clenching their teeth. It was obvious the brothers weren’t thrilled about Eunwoo’s flirtations, especially towards Lisa.

Jisoo excused herself to grab drinks for everyone, leaving Eunwoo behind. She didn’t acknowledge the tension in the air, but Eunwoo’s eyes lingered on her, silently observing. Meanwhile, Jungkook, sitting across from Lisa, couldn’t help but pout at the casual banter between Lisa and Eunwoo.

"Jungkook, Taehyung oppa, meet Eunwoo. He was our senior in university, just graduated a few months ago," Lisa introduced, flashing her most charming smile, which made her cheeks lift and her eyes sparkle with sincerity.

Both brothers nodded, but neither of them offered any acknowledgment of Eunwoo’s presence. They exchanged a glance, silently agreeing on one thing—Eunwoo was getting too comfortable with their girls. But they remained quiet. After all, he was still just a stranger, right?

When Jisoo returned with the drinks, she handed out the orders with a smile. Eunwoo received a Frappuccino, which he accepted with a grin. He looked at Jisoo with a soft, shy smile, one that made it obvious he had feelings for her. Jisoo gave him a gentle smile in return, unaware of the silent tension rising between the two brothers who were sitting across from her.

Lisa received her iced Americano, Jisoo took one as well, and Jungkook was handed his banana milk with a small pout still on his lips. For Taehyung, there was only a glass of water, a simple gesture that he felt was all he needed to get through the moment.

The conversation between Eunwoo and Jisoo picked up as the drinks were served. Eunwoo, who seemed to have a lot on his mind, shared stories and updates about his life, making it hard for Jisoo to focus on anything else. The two of them were engrossed in their conversation, laughing and reminiscing like old friends, completely oblivious to the subtle discomfort brewing on the other side of the table.

"Jisoo, can you pass me a tissue?" Eunwoo asked, his Frappuccino finished.

Jisoo reached for a tissue, but before she could hand it over, a long arm reached across the table, grabbing a tissue from the box. Without needing to look up, she already knew it was Taehyung. She could feel his gaze, the intensity of it, even without looking at him. Her heart raced slightly as she avoided meeting his eyes.
