" All I need is You "

;-)Chapter 8

Taehyung hadn’t been in the mood to go out. He had barely cared about his role as the CEO of Kim Skyscrapers, and his desire to be alone had grown stronger each day. But Jungkook and Lisa had other plans, and despite his reluctance, they managed to convince him to join them for a long drive.

Jungkook was driving, and Lisa was trying her best to cheer up Taehyung, who seemed lost in his thoughts. To lighten the mood, Lisa turned on some music, which only reminded Taehyung of her—the one who was constantly occupying his mind, his thoughts. Jisoo. After the fight with her fanboy at the university, he hadn’t seen her, and now he just wanted to apologize.

The thought of apologizing was new to Taehyung, but he knew he needed to—apologize for being prideful, for acting arrogant.

"Jungkook, let's go to that café. I know a great one," Lisa suggested, her eyes twinkling. Jungkook, without a second thought, adjusted the car's route and drove in the direction she pointed out on the map.

As the drive continued, Taehyung's mind was tangled in thoughts, constantly shifting between his duties as the CEO and the girl who had taken over his heart. He was always overthinking, his mind stuck between his past and future, often forgetting to live in the present. And when he did try to live in the moment, he often found himself in the wrong places—at a club, a pub, or with some girl.

His thoughts broke as Jungkook pulled up in front of a café. Taehyung recognized the place—it was the café he had seen yesterday, 'Wanna Hangout.'

"Jungkook, this is Jisoo's café," Lisa remarked casually, catching Taehyung's attention.

Both Jungkook and Lisa entered first, and Taehyung followed, the familiar scent of freshly brewed coffee greeting him. As they settled at a table, Lisa waved over to one of the staff, placing their orders. Soon, a man in his fifties approached them with a warm, fatherly smile.

"Lisa, how have you been? You’ve forgotten your uncle," the man said, his eyes twinkling as he addressed Lisa. She stood up to greet him, her smile wide.

"It’s not that, it’s just Jisoo is always so busy. Anyway, Uncle, let me introduce you to my friends. They just returned from California after ten years," Lisa explained as she introduced the Kim brothers.

Jungkook, ever the social one, stood up with a bright smile, exchanging pleasantries. But Taehyung remained still, his attention elsewhere, until Lisa prompted him to stand.

"Taehyung, Kook, meet Jisoo’s dad," she said, smiling as Taehyung stood and bowed respectfully to the man. Jungkook and Lisa exchanged a look of surprise—Taehyung didn’t usually show this much respect, even to their own parents.

"Hello, Uncle. I’m Kim Taehyung," Taehyung said, offering a polite smile after his bow.

"Nice to meet you, too. But Jisoo isn’t here today. She went for a part-time job," Jisoo’s dad explained before excusing himself to head to the cashier counter, where he was needed.

Lisa and Jungkook glanced at Taehyung, who seemed to be avoiding their gaze, his mind elsewhere.

"Why do I feel like Oppa is turning into a good boy?" Lisa teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief. Jungkook joined in with a grin.

"You like Jisoo, don’t you?" Jungkook joked, catching on to the situation, causing both Lisa and Taehyung to look at each other. Taehyung quickly cleared his throat, trying to act casual, while Lisa smirked knowingly.
