"I've can survive nuclear bombs. A spacequake is nothing to me. It's time to witness its might," Accelerator muttered with restrained excitement.

Leaving the confines of the Internet Café behind, Accelerator stepped out onto the bustling streets, where a sense of urgency hung in the air like an invisible fog. He waited for the civilians to heed the warning and evacuate to safety.

As the last citizens disappeared around street corners and into the labyrinthine alleys, Accelerator's eyes gleamed with anticipation. This was his moment to witness the spacequake.

With a surge of power, he propelled himself into the sky, defying gravity's hold as he shot upwards like a missile, his body soaring effortlessly through the airspace. The wind rushed past him, whipping at his clothes and hair, but he paid no mind. He was fixated on reaching the pinnacle of the nearest towering structure, seeking an elevated vantage point from which to observe the impending disaster.

Higher and higher he ascended; his gaze fixed on the skyline as it expanded before him. The city sprawled beneath him like a sprawling tapestry, its streets and buildings stretching out in intricate patterns. The rooftops below seemed like miniature replicas, and the people reduced to mere specks scurrying about, seeking sanctuary from the approaching calamity.

Finally, he reached his destination—a rooftop adorned with antennas and satellite dishes, a crown atop the urban landscape. Here, at this precipice between the heavens and the city, Accelerator stood resolute, his piercing gaze surveying the horizon.

Standing alone on the rooftop, he gazed at the city, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the impending disaster. The sky gradually darkened, a sign that he had spent too much time engrossed in his research.

The spot where Accelerator had been standing just moments ago was struck by a piercing beam of light, resulting in an explosion and leaving behind a sizable crater on the rooftop. True to his ability, he remained unscathed, his ability allowing him to manipulate the vectors of any force that came into contact with his skin—be it kinetic, thermal, or electrical.

Looking up, Accelerator observed his new opponents in the sky. Against the backdrop of the moon and towering buildings, a few silver robotic marionettes floated, their heads adorned with motorcycle helmet-like visors. Their disproportionately developed limbs mirrored the reverse of human anatomy. It was difficult to discern whether they were manned mechanical suits, robots with artificial intelligence, or remotely controlled entities akin to those found in Academy City.

The marionettes aimed their laser cannons directly at Accelerator, wasting no time in pulling the trigger.

Instead of evading the laser beams, Accelerator decided it was time to turn the tables on his attackers. Just moments before being hit, he deflected the vectors of the lasers, redirecting them back towards their source. One by one, the marionettes plummeted to the ground, incapacitated like electrocuted insects.
