Date Acceleration

Gremlin Squad members Manami, Mikari and Nisha each held different positions on random buildings' roofs. They were hiding out of plain sight ready to attack.

They observed three cargo trucks belonging to DEM park near the skyscraper using binoculars instead of their Territories to conserve their energy.

Each of them recalled the briefing. They were tasked in a hostage situation. Amata Kihara has a daughter of a loyal board member hostage. They were given a profile of a man named Amata Kihara. It was written that he came out of nowhere with no record or any certificate of any kind. He is very dangerous as he has many skills and possesses an array of knowledge from weapons development to scientific research. He had a history of shifting groups due to his personality and unethical goals. He was able to evade the law due to his intelligence and capabilities until now where he was found working with terrorist and criminal groups.

Lilith, Ellen and Artemisia will work on the negotiations.

Manami, Mikari and Nisha are assigned to stay put and assault the building just in case something goes wrong.

They observed the drivers who were DEM wizards in purple wiring suits of the cargo trucks unload the crates with assistance of their Territories from the trucks to the front of entrance of the skyscraper.

Although DEM does not negotiate with terrorists, this scenario was difficult.

The DEM wizards finished unloading their crates and entered the cargo trucks and drove off.

The Gremlin members waited for someone to exit the building with the hostage to retrieve the demands.

Time passed and nothing happened. No one retrieved the crates and the hostages were not released.

The skyscraper was surrounded by only a few hidden wizards but they were the most powerful in the world. Gremlin squad is not the only group hidden they were just the assault team. Every wizard was trained for this scenario.

DEM and the terrorist group waited a little longer as no one made the next move.

Silence filled the atmosphere. It seems to be waiting for something.

Amata stood by the glass wall waiting for something. He then started counting.

"10-9-8-7-6-5." He then noticed something and started counting faster. "54321.."

Accelerator flew through the sky and kicked through the window as Amata stopped counting. The glass noisily shattered and he had already activated esper mode. Ratatoskr fixed his brain damage and modified his cane and his choker so the battery running out won't be a problem. Chaff seed is useless due to the opening. Any form of jammer wouldn't stop him as he surveyed the area before charging.

Amata then turned his back from Accelerator as two wizards around him aimed their weapons and four wizards charged into the room and aimed their rifles at him. They were a total of six wizards. They have powerful Territories and their weapons' ammunition had strange materials which may have mixed effect with his reflection. One of the wizards was restraining a young girl who looked to be the same age as Last Order.

Accelerator gritted his teeth.

First on the list of targets are the Barghest wizards. He needed to remove the strength in numbers.

He manipulated the vectors of his leg strength, altering his aim to the Barghest wizards, and charged right up to one of them. He stretched out his hand.

One of the wizards had a deactivated laser knife and two grenades strapped to her belt. He was not aiming for one of them instead he was waiting for them to use their Territory at once to block him. As he was about to reach them, he performed the calculations to reflect the Territory back at them. It wasn't powerful as reflecting normal attacks but it was enough to stagger them.
