"Shit," Accelerator cursed.
"I've fallen, and I can't get up," he muttered.
The #1 esper of Academy City has now had his face planted on the floor. Beaten both mentally and physically. The pain from the large blow to the head and something causing his head to hurt is interfering with his concentration and calculations.
He couldn't see the enemy, yet he could tell they were making fun of him. All he could see was darkness and smoke. Then there was this strange feeling, as if something was crawling through his head. The feeling was like an arachnid of unknown species and origin was crawling around in his brain, digging holes in it. He couldn't tell if it was something happening in his body or his mind, trying to comprehend the situation.
Then there was the enemy, who had the appearance of a Sister. A collective term for the large number of military clones. With his limited exposure and knowledge, he couldn't tell what kind of technology was used, whether it was a result of a mental ability or something else. Whether it was a mental projection or something physical.
They were using psychological warfare against him, just like in World War Three. Amata was one of the top dogs being leashed by a bigger dog. This was a plot to weaken him through his trauma.
"That unoriginal bastard has stepped down so low that he was copying others' homework. It's not going to work this time. Go ahead, you fuckers, keep clicking that button to shove the faces of the Sisters in front of me. I will crush anyone that stands in my way. The brat may not be here, and this battle may not matter. I am not that little pathetic villain anymore. I have done it many times. I can do it again. I can still protect, watch me." He said it with a cold and determined tone inside his head as he gritted his teeth.
It was, of course, to be expected. Killing Kihara Amata is not an easy task. He has the intelligence due to years of research to take on espers like him and, combined with the fact that he has now adapted to this world's different and unique concepts, most importantly, he knows almost everything about Accelerator.
The only advantage Accelerator has against Amata is the new laws he is in the process of studying from the meeting with Aiwass to the time he was transported here.
Accelerator tried to force himself to stand but was too mentally and physically incapable due to the attack.
"Why aren't they finishing me off again? Either they are playing with me or being cautious. If that's the case, maybe I have some advantage here." He thought, as he expected, that once his abilities were turned off, the silhouettes would be emptying their mags at him to blow him to the deepest pits of Hell.
Suddenly, his abilities were turned back on, as if it was a device that had finally connected to Wi-Fi. After some struggling, he was able to stand back up as he started holding on to the walls for support. As he starts to get fragments of concentration, he starts to create a formula against the special bullets.
