Natsumi and Yoshino were shocked by the sight. This was why they were very afraid of what they might see the moment they decided to explore the abandoned area.
They found a fresh corpse.
The two froze at the sight, conflicted about whether to approach or retreat. Looking at each other, hoping one would take the initiative or speak. They continued to stare at it.
Natsumi walked in front of Yoshino and gestured for her to stay back. She walked towards the corpse to fully investigate it, hoping they were both just imagining it.
Natsumi walked closer to the corpse and grabbed a nearby stick and poked at it, specifically at its stomach. She noticed its stomach move, which made her jump in fear. When there was no more blood, the girls calmed down.

The two girls looked closely at the corpse.
"Look, it's a girl and I think she might be breathing," Natsumi said as she kept poking the body with a stick.
"Should we call for help?" Yoshino asked with concern and fear, while trying to restrain herself from panicking.
"For who? There is no signal here," Natsumi replied.
They looked closely as the corpse was wearing a white winter jacket and, underneath it, a white shirt with V-patterns and a choker. It has a skinny body, pale skin, and long moppy white hair.
The corpse then opened its eyes. It looks like it couldn't be classified as a corpse anymore.
The girls then jumped in surprise. Yoshino instantly hugged Natsumi, with definitely no intent to use her as a human shield.
"Oh, she's alive. Thank God." Natsumi sighed in relief as Yoshino cowered behind her.
The girl didn't move an inch. The only things that moved were her eyes and her stomach, which was only capable of breathing.
"Ehheeehheehheehhhh" The girl made a distorted sound like a baby trying to mimic words.
