Vintage cleared his throat "I'm sure you all remember yesterday correct? When I announced I'd be rearranging the teams? Well I wanted to announce we will be having 2 teams now! Those teams will be named "Team Lightning and Team Thunder!" Alright? Now for the teams! Get ready!"
Team Lightning!: Flower, Raz, Broom, CB, Milkshake and Calligraphy Pen!
Team Thunder!: Cappy, Bottle, Lighter, Cookie, Spork and HP!
Team Thunder:
Cappy smiled at Lighter "Aye! Welcome to team "Jackass!"" Lighter smiled "Nice to be here-!" Bottle stood between them "Alright, That's enough love birds. How about we meet the other me-" Bottle turned around to see Spork crying in the corner and Cookie manically laughing at seemingly nothing. She turned back around at the other 2 and paused. "Sooo... Cappy... What did you say your friends name was...?"
Team Lightning:
Flower grabbed RazorBlades hand, her fingers running over the knuckles nervously as she smiled at her new team members. Slightly nervously. "Hey there! So um.. I'm flower and this is my Partner Raz!" Milkshake hovered over to her "OMG Hii!! I'm Milkshake! It's nice to meet y-" Cali walked over and put a hand on her shoulder(?) "chill. You're gonna scare her yo-" Broom tackle hugged flower "TEAMIES!" Cali and Milkshake watched as the three happily laughed together. Cali sighed "Goddamn I want what they have." Meanwhile CB was just glaring over at Team Thunder. Milkshake saw this and walked over "Hey, maybe you should meet your teammates instead of glaring at them?" CB snarled "Whatevs..."
Vintage cleared his throat "That brings me to announcement 2! Come on out!" Behind a bush out walked Hypnosis Pendant. Their string being held together by bandages as well as bandages around their arm where it had been bitten off. Vintage smiled "You'll be on team Thunder with Spork! Okay HP?" The moment Spork heard Vintage say HP they sprung up and turned around. Low and behold. There they were. Standing there. Staring into space. Spork ran over and hugged them "HYPNO! YOU'RE ALIVE!" Hypnosis Pendant snapped back to reality. Nearly having a panic attack at the sudden contact. They managed to calm themselves down and muttered "Spork...?" Spork pulled away "HP! I was so worried about you! Gosh I am so sorry I-" Hypnosis Pendant muttered "Calm down... It's fine..." They're voice sounded monotone and tired "HP...? Are you oka-" Vintage cleared his throat "Sorry to cut this reunion short but... we're already running behind schedule! Cause today I have a really fun challenge! It's an obstacle course!" Cookie readjusted the portable egg incubator around their body "Hah! This'll b-" Cappy looked over "Your bringing your egg...?" "They've been lonely while I'm away! Plus I'm sure it'll be completely fine!" Cookie smiled happy at their egg. Cappy sighed "Alright..."
Vintage led the teams to the obstacle course. It didn't look way to long "The first 2 teams to pass will wins alright? On your marks get set... Go!"
Team Thunder:
Cappy was having troubles keeping up due to his short legs. Eventually his whole team got ahead of him. He got to the swinging bars before huffing "Come on..." He watched as Team Lightning passed before CB stopped "Damn it!" CB jumped up and used their foot to grab the bar and struggled to swing across. Cappy watched them struggle to make their way across. Cappy thought to themself "I can do this..." He leapt up and tried to grab the bar. Only to completely miss and fall down.
The rest of the challenge went strangely calm. Raz was the first one to pass with Cookie right behind them "Woo-" before Raz could finish their cheer Cookie ran past them. Tripping and tumbling down the mountain side. Everyone ran over to see what had happened. Cookie slowly stood up. And immediately pulled their egg out of the incubator. Checking them over Cookie sighed and turned towards everyone "Eggy is ok-!!" Only to be cut of by Cappy rolling down the mountain. Causing them to fall over. And the egg to crack on a rock. Everyone gasped and looked on at horror. Lighter slid down the mountain! "Cappy!" Cappy slowly started to become aware again and started frantically searching "SHIT! WHERE IS MY LEG WARMER!?" Cookie slowly sat back up. Rubbing the back of their head when they saw their egg. Shattered on a rock. They practically crawled over to it. Slowly cupping the shattered egg in their hands. On half of it still had the yolk attached. Cookie. With teary eyes ran away towards the volcano. Vintage tried to run after them "Kiki! Wait!" Vintage turned towards everyone tibsee them all in shock and Lighter helping a few embarrassed, guilty and sad Cappy put their leg warmers back on. Vintage sighed "There will be no elimination tonight. Everyone go to your cabins."
Later that night:
Spork was taking a walk through the woods. Trying to get the image of Cookies egg out their brain before sleeping. When they saw Hypnosis Pendant on the cliffside. Curled up in a ball. Spork walked over to them "You okay?" Hypnosis Pendant curled up further into a ball "Yeah..." Spork sat down "You... Sure...? You don't look okay..." Hypnosis Pendant looked away "...I..." Hypnosis Pendant leaned up against Spork "Fine... I'm not..." Sporks eyes were glistening with concern for his friend "Wanna talk about it...?" HP sighed "You sure you wanna listen...? I tend to... Ramble." Spork gave them a warm smile "Of course." Hypnosis Pendant took a deep breath before they started talking "Where I'm from any mental disorders are considered punishment from higher beings. And it's said that, well. Most of them would never find wives or husbands or be successful. Infact a lot of parents after finding out their kids had mental health issues would abandon them or worse... Kill them off. It was considered heroic and merciful to kill off a kid with mental health issues even. I was one of the lucky ones. I was diagnosed with a dissociative disorder. My mom didn't kill me. But she was always distant and cared for my siblings more. When I started to get access to the internet I discovered LGBTQ stuff. So at around 10 I came out as Non-binary. And my mom was pissed. She tossed me out of the house and told everyone via internet. So I couldn't find a place to live cause well... I came from a pretty homophobic country. When I realized she told everyone I knew the regional police would be after me. So I illegally immigrated to this county. I was caught but after explaining my reasoning I was admitted entry. I was out in foster care since... Well... I was about 11 at the time. When I was finally adopted by a super sweet family. But... After my adoptive mom passed away our dad was heartbroken and had troubles providing for us since he had alcohol issues. And so me, being the eldest had to take care of my siblings. I dropped out at 16. Got a job abd learned to cook. I was about 19 when dad died from an alcohol overdose. And in his will he left the property that had been in the family for generations to me. A lot of the family didn't agree but I didn't care. So I took it and made it into a shop that sold stuff from my home countries culture. Like gems and spiritual stuff... Heh... I still remember helping my birth "mom" spread sage around the house. But... When I was in the hospital... My "mom" came to visit. I told her to go away and get out since ya know, she abandoned me at 10. And she threatened me and stuff... I was just... Thinking about that..." Spork was left in shock for a moment. Before he took a deep breath "Wow... HP I am... So sorry..." HP chuckled. Trying to hide the tears "Don't worry. This kinda stuff happens...!" "Spork looked at them. Their eyes slightly widening "What...!? These sorts of things don't just happen! And even if they did that doesn't excuse it happened!" HP was a little surprised. They looked away and muttered "Sorry..." Spork realized he had yelled and felt guilt stab at his heart "N... No. Thank you. For telling me. And... Thanks for trusting me." HP was even more surprised by this. They glanced back over at Spork. Who seemed lost and in thought. Before Spork finally mustered yo the courage to ask "Are you... In therapy...?" HP was at first shocked at the question but recovered from that quick. "No... I'm not. I don't have the money." "There are other options. Like, online counseling! You can find other alternatives that don't cost money." HP hugged their knees. Lost in thought for a moment "Why do you want to help me so bad...?" Spork looked over "Because your a good person HP! And you've been through too much. You deserve someone you can lean on and talk too!" HP pendant was nearly crying at this point. No one had ever cared about them this much. HP wasn't sure what to say. "I.. I don't... Thank you... thank you so much..."
Cookie:
Cookie ran into their lab. Clenching the eggshell. BL was sitting on the couch on their phone "Aye, what's the word CK- geeze. What happened...? Who died...?" "MY EGG! MY BABY DIED!" "...Oh shit." BL stood up and walked over to see Cookie to see they were putting the yolk in some type of container and hooking it up to some machine "What are you doing?" "I've been... Working on this prototype for a few months... I just hope it works..." Cookie out a hand up to the glass "Please work... I can't lose anything else..." BL cleared their throat "Look, I'm sorry about your kid but I got something to say." Cookie turned around. Tears streaking their surface. BL smiled a little "I think I know someone who could help us. I got into Vintages plans for tomorrow and it's very... Very interesting."
