Cappy slowly opened the door to Vintages cabin "Hey V...? When are ya uh... Gonna start the next challenge?" Vintages cabin was a mess. Cans tossed throughout the cabin. The blinds were all shut and the lights were off. The faint silhouette of Vintage sitting on his bed could be seen across the distance. "There isn't one today... I'm not in the mood... We can continue the challenges tomorrow." "Okay... By the way, when will Cali-" "Tomorrow. Now please leave me alone." Cappy sighed and shut the door.

CB:
How did she let them convince her to do this...?
CB, Lighter and Cappy were on a boat, sailing the Ocean blue. They sighed. Looking over at Lighter as he laughed at one of Cappy's stupid jokes. God she wish he'd trip off the boat and drown. ... Woah. Where did that come from...? She had never had an intrusive thoughts until now. They had always taken pride in having control over her thoughts. Even after they're parents death. But ever since the incident it was different. She couldn't control themself. She felt their claws dig into the ground. God I want to push him off the boat. It would only be fair after what he did... Seeing him so happy after all the pain he caused hurt almost more than the chunk of their face missing. She sighed. They were supposed to be the calm and composed one! She shouldn't be having thoughts of murder! But at the same time the thoughts of avenging their parents was loud. And the idea of it was... Almost glorifying. That might not be the right word... But the idea of finally feeling almost free from her past sounded amazing. When they came back to reality Cappy had left. Probably below deck to go do something. Lighter was sitting on the edge of the boat. Legs dangling off. This is my chance... Strike.

What...?

She looked down at the ripple in the water. They were standing where Lighter once stood. ... She did it. They were gone. And never coming back. Her clarity started to return. God, what did they do...? She just killed they're brother. The person she had been raised with. Adrenaline filled their veins. It only got worse when they heard screaming. Probably Cappy's. But no she snapped back to reality when they felt droplets of water hit her face... Did... Did Cappy just jump into the water to save Lighter...? CB found themself unable to breath. She just walked into the bottom deck and hid in the darkest, dampest, coldest corner. Like they deserve better...

Lighter:
One moment he was sitting on the boats edge. Taking in the beautiful view of the setting sun dipping below the ocean, spreading shades of Purple, Orange, Pink, Red and Yellow among the ocean. And the next he was in said ocean. The faint silhouette of CB looming over him. The once beautiful ocean now looked scary and cold. He flailed. Trying desperately to swim as they felt their eye fill with water. He became to heavy and started to sink. Their eyes felt heavy as their panic started to rest. His eyes started to flutter shut. The last thing he saw was the faint and blurry sighed of... Cappy...?

His eyes shot open. "GAH!" He sat up and started heavily breathing. Wait... Where is he...? He... Was in t forest. The same one he grew up... He could tell that creek anywhere. But... How. When he sat up he saw something that shocked him more than anything else. it was... A table. With 2 chairs sitting on both sides and a small, rinky sink radio sitting on the table. But that's not what surprised him. It was... His mom. She was sitting on the chair to the right. One side of her face perfectly split in a V like shape with fire leaking out. A line of... Something over her eyes. He stood up and caught a glimpse of himself in the creek. He looked the same except for a same line of that... Stuff over his broken eye. It was hard to explain what it looked like. It looked almost like a... Glitch. If that makes sense. He put his hand up to it. It felt... Staticy. Like when your hand falls asleep and starts waking up. But that wasn't important. He walked over to the chair beside her and sat down. He paused before looking at his mom, Dandelion. "Mom...?" She said nothing. She had the warm smile he remembered. "Mom! It's me! Lighter..." He stood up and walked Infront of her. Even though he knew she probably couldn't see. "Your son! Mom please!" ... "...I... I'm sorry mom... I.... I'm not your son. I never was." He started to feel weak. "I never deserved you to take me... You deserved to get to stay with CB... She deserved to get to live their childhood but... They didn't... And it's my fault..." His legs gave out. His claws dun into the floor as tears dribbled from his eyes. "I'm sorry..." He found himself muttering through his sobs. Feeling like a kid apologizing for breaking a vase. "I'm sorry Mommy..." He felt her stand up. But was surprised when she kneeled Infront of him and scoooed him up into a hug. Lighter found himself unable to move. Besides weakly wrapping his arms around her. He never felt so warm and yet so cold at the same time. He just kept mutterinf his apology to her. He heard her oh-so warm and familiar and yet scarily nostalgic voice. "It's okay... It was never your fault... I promise..." He felt his claws dig into her back as his crying quieted down. He felt her gently pull away. The glitch over her eyes was gone. A warm smile with tears prickling in the corners of her eye plastered on her face. "I love yo-"

He woke up with a loud gasp followed by coughing. Water spilled from his eye. His chest felt like it was on fire. He slowly looked up at Cappy with blurry vision. He looked horrified "Lighter...?" Lighter was about to try and stand up when he felt Cappy put a foot on him "Don't stand. Y... You stopped breathing for a moment... I..." Tears prickled in his eyes. Even if he tried to hide it with his harsh attitude. "I was worried you DIPSHIT! What the hell happened!?" Lighter thought for a moment. Trying to remember what happened. "...I... I think CB... Pushed me in."

Later that night...
Cappy and Lighter told Vintage. But he didn't seem to care. Lighter spent the rest of the day in bed. Trying to recover, physically and mentally. But that night... CB decided to go to the Hotel. She didn't want to be on the island anymore. Vintage opened the Portal "I don't know why you want to go home but... Whatever." CB peered over and Lighter. "Some people just... Don't deserve secind chances." Was all they said as she walked out. As everyone left Lighted found himself still there. Staring at where CB once was. He felt Cappy gently nuzzle his face up against him. He looked down at Cappy who looked at him "You okay L...?"
