JUNGKOOK POV

Jungkook and Taehyung waited for Jimin to wake up the next morning before they discussed the plan with him.

"Morning, sleepyhead," Jungkook offered when the omega blinked his eyes open groaned and rolled over to hide his face in his pillow.

"That bad, huh?" Jungkook asked rubbing his hand soothingly across Jimin's back.

"Ow," Jimin mumbled into his pillow before pushing himself upright.

"Feels like I tumbled down the cliffs not climbed up them."

Both of them winced at the image that put in their heads.

One small misstep up there and that mightn't have been far from the truth.

"Well," Jungkook said, smiling brightly.

"you should be starting to feel better any minute now."

"The doctor says you can get up and move around today."

"Not far though. I thought maybe you and Tae could take Bam out for a walk in the courtyard garden after breakfast?"

"What a great idea," Tae said.

Jimin was having none of it.

"But where will you be?" he asked Jungkook plaintively.

Tae got there before he could answer.

"Jungkook is off on a mission today, He's planning to talk to his father about our bond."

"So soon? But the contest..."

"I don't know about either of you," Jungkook weighed in.

"But I'm in no mood to carry on pretending I give a damn about the contest."

"Not with everything that's happened, not with what's at stake. We're in a strong position right now, Jimin, thanks to you."

"Thanks to how brave you were rescuing Lisa."

"So my abduction was a good thing?"

"Not in the slightest," he said.

"But it does give us some leverage, which I plan to use to full advantage with my father."

"Just as soon as I've had the chance to talk to my Uncle about it. He knows how to approach my dad about these things."

In the face of Jimin's uncertainty, Taehyung nodded encouragingly.

"This is a good thing, Jimin."

"With any luck, it will mean us getting exactly what we want."

"And quicker than we thought, though you've had to suffer far more for it than we'll have had to."

A slow smile crept across Jimin's face. "We're really doing this?"

"We are," Jungkook confirmed.

"No more skulking around, no more hiding in the shadows."

"No more pretend love story."

He reached over and clasped tae's hand, squeezing tightly.

"I wish I could come clean about everything but—"

"But if you admitted your feelings for me to your dad, he'd never allow us to marry,"tae concluded.

The pain in his expression was too much for Jungkook to take so he tugged tae into his arms and kissed him.

They jumped apart on hearing a knock on the door, Jungkook's heart hammering in his chest at how close they'd come to getting caught.

"That'll be breakfast," jungkook said, getting to his feet and straightening his clothes, giving Jimin and Tae a wry smile.
