"They're good at that."

Jungkook frowned at his uncle's tone but plowed on in his attempt to explain the problem.

"He won't choose between us."

"He says he loves us both."

"I thought, I mean it's happened before, hasn't it?"

"It's highly unusual," the uncle said.

"I think it was your great-great-grandfather's youngest brother."

"They moved overseas, settled elsewhere."

"But there is a precedence."

"It will cause a lot of raised eyebrows, a lot of unpleasant gossip."

"I don't care about the public, Uncle. I love Jimin and tae is someone very special to me."

"Yes as soon as possible, The last thing I want to do is continue with the contest after everything"

"If Jimin hadn't acted when he did he and Lisa might have been spirited away from the palace."

He put his head in his hands, trying to get himself under control as his emotions got the better of him.

A hand settled on his shoulder.

"I understand, jungkook, better than most. If this is what you want then you have my support."

"As for your father, he and I are having a meeting with the royal guard this morning to update us on the investigation into Lisa's abduction."

"I suspect there's been little to no progress so far, therefore, he's not going to be in the most congenial of moods."

"I would suggest giving him a few hours and talking to him after lunch."

"I could join you, if you like?"

"Would you?" he asked, looking up at his uncle, knowing how much it would mean if his uncle was by his side, supporting him.

"Of course," his uncle said with a smile.

Just before three p.m. that afternoon, He called by his Uncle's office, finding it empty.

"Oh, Prince Jungkook," his uncle's assistant called when she spotted him.

"The Duke asked me to tell you that he's very sorry, but he's been called away from the palace due to a family emergency."
