KATRINA??

Michael squinted and took a large breath in. I knew something was making him uncomfortable. Maybe it was Mason- 

Hope it's not Katrina.

"Hey- uh guys- i'll be right back-" I quickly depart. They all nodded and I made my way to the Dj.

"Hey Jenny!" I come up to the counter.

"Yo Y/n, it's been a while" Jenny peered from the counter. Jenny is basically the Dj of this place, she kinda owns the rink. 

"Think you could change the music?" I asked.

"What's wrong with Katy Perry?" Jenny raised her eyebrows.

"Oh nothinnn- just- think everyone wants sum different." I shrugged.

"Everyone?? or that guy?" Jenny smirked, pointing at Michael.

"Oh shut up- we're just friends!" I scoffed.

"Alright. What song?" Jenny looked at her music. I thought about all the times that Michael listened to music. 

-FLASHBACK 😻-

I hop on the bus and see Michael with his headphones on.

"Heyaa" I sit next to him.

"Oh- hey Y/n" Michael took his headphones out and smiled.

"You slept alright?" Michael turned his music off and turned to me.

"Yep! you?" I asked back.

"Ah yea I slept okay" Michael answered.

"So- what were you listening to?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Nothing" Michael looked out the window, clearly embarrassed about sharing his music taste.

"I bet it was the Weeknd" I laughed, putting my bag down. Michael looked at me, eyes wide.

"How did-?" He squinted.

"Lucky guess. Plus, all the decent guys listened to the Weeknd." I shrugged.

"You think i'm decent?" Michael scoffed.

"Y/n, I'm more than decent thank you" He smirked and looked out the window. I laughed and shook my head. 

"Sure Mike, sure"

I sigh. Michaels changed to be honest. He isn't the funny and flirtatious guy I knew anymore. 

"Okay uh.. how about the Weeknd?" I asked Jenny.

"Not bad, what song?" Jenny got ready for my suggestion. I bit my lip and tried to remember what he was listening to. It was the Weeknd but what..song..

I scrunched my nose. Jenny chuckled.

"Best guess is that he was listening to 'is there someone else'." Jenny smiled.

"Yea.. yea I think so.."  I nodded. I wasn't sure but- let's give it a shot?

"Sure" Jenny stopped the song that was playing and picked up the mic.

"Alright skaters! this ones for the lovers! Enjoy The Weeknd and his tribute to all of you sweethearts!" Jenny yelled and the crowd cheered. She turned on the song. The song filled the rink and everyone began skating. The aesthetics of the entire place matched the song so well.
