Chapter 44- Part 1

Who knew? Michaels music taste matches a skating rink?

"Thanks Jenny!" I called and skated back.

"No problemm- 

oi wait!" 

I turned around. 

"Tell him" Jenny winked and I rolled my eyes. Tell him what? Tch. I moved through the crowd and reached my group again. 

"Heyoo- now cmon- we came here to skate not lounge around." I smiled and everyone nodded in agreement. They all partnered up and I took Michaels hand. Michaels face was in clear disbelief.

"How did you know I was listening to-?" 

I cut him off.

"Againnn- lucky guess" I winked and Michael chuckled. 

"Y/n L/n, winking?- to meee?" Michael smiled. His spirits seem much more lifted.

"Yep!" I laughed and dragged him quickly to our group. I heard him yelp at the sudden pull.

"Y/n slowed down-!" He yelled.

"Yea yeaa-" I laughed and I caught up to the group. I slowed down and Michael looked behind us. I raised my eyebrows and I saw Mason and Katrina. I scrunched up my nose.

"Cmon, don't pay attention to them" 

Michael nodded and smiled.

"is there someone else or not?

'Cause I wanna keep you close

I don't wanna lose my spot"

Michael sang out loud and I chuckled. I joined in the singing. His song choices aren't that bad. I sang my heart out. Who cares what people think at this point? 

"I don't deserve someone loyal to me-

Michael vocalised. He- actually sounded nice! He seemed way more confident in his skating now. Picking his favourite song was clearly a good idea. The song quickly ended and another started playing after Jennys introduction.

I knew that introduction.

It was a song by Taylor Swift.

Now- this whole place is filled with teens and whatever.. so it just be for them?

She did not.

I shot her a look as we passed her counter. Jenny stuck out her tongue.

This is so embarrassing- WHY WOULD SHE-

"Huh.. didn't know you're over Mason so quickly" Michael smirked. 

"NO- THIS- whole thing IT- i didn't choose it." I stumbled as I tried to keep my balance straight. I kept looked at my feet. Michael shook his head, laughing as the chorus came around again.
