"A-Alright... But I don't like you like that, Videl. I'm not sure I can like anyone like that, since I'm part Saiyan." Gohan said. Videl chuckled, that only felt like more of a reason for her to try. If she made Gohan fall in love first, Y/n wouldn't stand a chance.

"That's fine. Come on, Gohan. Let's try going on a date!" Videl said, giggling as she dragged Gohan out onto the balcony, taking off into the sky without waiting for Gohan. Gohan sighed with a small smile, following after her.

Meanwhile, Y/n had gotten off of school after a long day of exams, she had gotten through her second day without any hitches, excluding this morning. She smiled at the tall Saiyan who waited for her at the entrance to the school grounds, approaching him.

"Hey, Goku. You actually got here on time." She said. Goku chuckled, giving her a bright, toothy grin.

"Yeah, now that I know where the school is, I can just Instant Transmission us here everyday. That'll be a lot faster." He said. Y/n's eyes practically lit up like stars at his words. Goku could teleport? That was some insane magic, and something she would definitely try to learn. But she shook her head, trying to stay focused on her objective.

"Well, I was wondering, tomorrow is my last day of exams. I need to see Bulma before they end so we can plan some stuff. Would you mind taking me to see her?" Y/n asked. Goku nodded happily, grabbing her by her waist and pulling her to his chest.

"Yep, just hold on. I'll take ya, and we could even train there if you'd like, you can meet my buddy Vegeta!" Goku said with a giggle. Placing two fingers on his forehead, he focused on Bulma's energy, opting to not risk teleporting to Vegeta and ending up in the Gravity Room.

Y/n yelped as she felt like she was suddenly jerked at high speeds, before suddenly ending up in what looked like the kitchen of Bulma's home. Bulma, who was gathering food out of the fridge, shut the door before making eye contact with Goku. She nearly screamed, grasping her food tightly so as not to drop it, startled.

"Goku! You scared the hell out of me, what's your problem!?" She glared at the taller man, who simply shrugged with a smile.

"Sorry, Bulma. Y/n wanted to come see you." Goku nudged Y/n's shoulder, pushing the girl closer to Bulma. Bulma looked at the girl in surprise, setting down her food on the counter.

"Y/n? I haven't seen you since the party, how are you?" She asked, leading Y/n into the living room. Goku, however, decided to run off in search of Vegeta, leaving the two to themselves.

"I'm fine, ma'am, thank you. I came to see about that sponsorship, I was wondering if you were still wanting to do it." Y/n said. Bulma chuckled, sitting down in a chair and gesturing for Y/n to sit as well. Y/n did so hesitantly, wondering if she were being rude getting comfortable in her idol's home.

"Of course. So, when are you graduating?" Bulma asked.

"Next week. Tomorrow is my last day of exams, then we're supposed to have prom. I came by because I was hoping you could recommend a college for me." Y/n said. Bulma hummed, deep in thought.

"Where do you live? You might need to move if you want to get into a good college." Bulma said. Y/n chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of her neck. She had been hoping to avoid the fact that she was homeless, she didn't want Bulma to change her mind.

"I-I'm... I don't really have a place, Goku has been letting me stay with him." Y/n said. Bulma's eyes widened in surprise, before she squinted at Y/n, crossing her arms. Y/n flinched, knowing she had messed up. So much for that sponsorship—
