"Autonomous Ultra Instinct,"
Beerus's head whipped to Whis's direction, eyes nearly bulging out of his head. Surely he hadn't heard Whis right. But the smirk tugging on Whis's lips confirmed Beerus's doubts. Whis chuckled, shaking his head. "I really hadn't thought any of this would be possible. Not only has Goku attained the angelic form of Ultra Instinct, but it seems Y/n has also managed to master her unique transformation and turn it into something more."
"It's very reminiscent of her Super Saiyan form," Beerus pointed out in a mumble, still trying to wrap his head around the shock that they had both managed to obtain such unique powers, abilities that could even perhaps surpass Beerus. He wasn't sure he liked the sound of that.
Beerus's words stuck to Whis's mind, like he had given Whis the piece of a puzzle without the rest of the picture. That was the only explanation for Y/n's new form, she must have combined her unique fiery transformation with Super Saiyan. But that wasn't how transformations worked. It wasn't like Goku could combine his numerous different Super Saiyan transformations together. He could only combine techniques, such as Kaioken or Super Saiyan God, and if Y/n's powers were operating under the same rules as the Saiyans, that meant she shouldn't be able to combine them; unless it was a technique and not a transformation. And that changed things. It made things a lot more dangerous for Y/n. Far more than she realized.
"Come at me. No holding back." Jiren spoke, standing completely still, unwavering.
Y/n's eyes met Goku's, making note of the almost angelic aura surrounding him, his once black eyes now a shimmering grey. She let out a chuckle, smirking as she lowered herself into a fighting stance. "Let's kick his ass and win this, okay?"
A small smile pulled at Goku's lips. Yes, he had missed this so much. This was it. This was what he had longed for, to be with Y/n once again. And he would not lose it, no matter what.
Letting out a yell, the two rushed straight for Jiren from both sides. Jiren scoffed, catching their fists as they slammed into his palms. His boots scraped against the ground, hands shaking. They were both equally fast, moving together as one, like that of a well oiled machine. Even their fusion couldn't hold a candle to the synchronization and harmony they possessed. The mere notion that they were even better paired together like this angered Jiren, his teeth gritting as his boots dug into the torn dirt beneath him.
Releasing their fists, a burst of ki knocked them back as Jiren rushed forward toward Y/n. His fist met with Y/n's own as she fended him off, dodging his blows as she flew back. Just before Jiren could land a powerful punch, Goku was suddenly in front of him, Jiren's fist caught in his palms. Spinning the two around, Jiren's back was suddenly to Y/n, her boot smashed into his side.
Jiren's eyes widened, the hot taste of iron filling his senses as he choked on a cough. A low growl rose from within him, his aura surrounding him as his power exploded, locking in a back and forth of Earth-shattering blows, fists flying. The sky was suddenly lit up with fireworks, the stage shaking and crumbling beneath the pressure.
For every hit that Jiren threw, it was met with both Y/n and Goku's combined strength, the two fighting with everyone's hopes and dreams on their backs. This was a fight to end all fights.
But even with their combined strength, it still just wasn't quite enough to overpower Jiren, as he smashed through their attacks and defenses. There was only one thing Y/n could think to do; if Jiren wouldn't go down, she would have to take him down with the entire arena, even if it meant their own elimination.
