Fontaine had picked up Penny after her shift. They were going to spend some time again. Fontaine had told her that they wouldn't be in Paris much longer and Finn would be going with the Nektons.
That made Penny a little sad, but it wasn't bad. But it was the reason they were on their way to the museum now. Then they could both do something together with Finn before Penny had to go home to work on some designs.
"It's so damn hot today," Penny complained. She wasn't a fan of warm places, preferring the cooler ones further north.
"I think it's pleasant," Fontaine said with a smile and Penny rolled her eyes with a chuckle.
"Because you're in much hotter places most of the time," she clarified and Fontaine laughed a little.
"That's right. I'm just used to it and you're not," Fontaine said a bit arrogantly and Penny giggled with amusement.
Suddenly they heard some loud screams and saw a group of people running out from between some alleys.
Penny immediately became concerned and stopped a man.
"Excuse me, what's going on?" she asked and he looked at her in panic.
"An akuma! We have to get out of here now!" he shouted fearfully, squirming out of Penny's hand before continuing to run.
"An akuma? Those butterflies they keep talking about on the news?" asked Fontaine and Penny nodded with a short 'yes'. "I understand you've helped out before," she added with a smile.
"Join in if you want. It's a good workout," Penny laughed in amusement and they both started running toward the source of the fighting sounds.
As Penny and Fontaine approached the Eiffel Tower, where the Akuma apparently came from, Penny suddenly noticed Marinette as Ladybug with Cat Noir on one of the rooftops. She was about to join them at first, but then she noticed one of the large saw blades circling around the villain.
It sped right toward Cat Noir and Penny immediately panicked.
"Cat Noir! Ladybug! Look out!" she shouted loudly, and Fontaine's wide eyes now noticed the saw blade as well.
"Get away! You have to get away!" she yelled with Penny, but they didn't hear her and Marinette was hurt at the last moment when she pushed Cat Noir aside.
Panicked, Penny ran through the alleys while Cat Noir escaped with Marinette.
"Quick, we have to help them!" shouted Penny, and Fontaine hurried.
"Let's transform, then we can catch the butterfly," Fontaine said, and Penny looked at her in horror.
"But we can't do that, all of Paris will know that dragons exist. And what about the hunters?" asked Penny critically and Fontaine shook his head.
"We have to help somehow, don't we? As far as I know, Ladybug always cleans the butterflies, doesn't she?" Penny nodded. "Then we'll capture it and bring it to her, done. No one needs to know anything," Fontaine said, and Penny sighed heavily.
They came to a stop in a dark alley. Groaning, Penny gave in.
"Fine, fine, you're right. As humans, we could never dodge those saw blades in time," she relented and Fontaine nodded.
Penny looked around.
"The Akuma normally hides in an object. We need to destroy that object and force the Akuma to fly out. Then we have a chance to catch it," she explained, and Fontaine looked more closely at the angry man.
"What could the item be?" asked Fontaine.
"Anything that's flashy in any way. What about the sunglasses?" asked Penny.
