"Wait, so you really think you’re in love with someone, but yesterday you fought with Minhyuk because..." Lisa pressed, teasing him further, her eyes widening as she pulled the strings.

"I’m not interested in her," Taehyung responded quickly, taking a sip of his coffee to mask his discomfort. But Lisa's smirk remained because his face gave away more than his words did.

"Then prove it," Lisa challenged with a raised eyebrow.

"Why should I prove anything when I’ve already said it?" Taehyung fought back, trying to maintain his stance, but Lisa wasn’t backing down.

With a playful grin, Lisa stood up, pulling both Taehyung and Jungkook along with her. Taehyung took a deep breath and, finally, reluctantly asked, "What does that even mean?"

Jisoo had been working tirelessly at Forget It, dealing with the chaos of a private party being thrown by a group of unruly customers. As she delivered another round of drinks to the VIP block, she could feel the energy shift as soon as she stepped inside.

A group of six men were loudly singing, and the atmosphere was filled with alcohol and rowdiness.

One of the men shouted at her to leave the drinks on the table, which she did while quickly opening the bottles. As she continued her task, she noticed the way they were looking at her-a look she recognized, but one that still made her uneasy.

"Drink with us," one of the men said, holding out a bottle of wine. Jisoo tried to step aside and continue with her work, but the man grabbed her wrist, pulling her toward the empty couch.

The other men laughed, clearly enjoying the scene. "Drink," the man insisted, his grip tightening as he forced the bottle into her hand. She looked up, meeting his eyes, which were filled with nothing but desire.

"Drink it, gorgeous," he murmured, caressing her cheek. Jisoo's discomfort deepened as she realized the situation she was in-one where she felt trapped and unsafe. She had encountered rude, pushy men before, but never had one been so forceful.

Panicking, she quickly threw the drink into his face and kicked his leg, bolting out of the VIP block. She could hear their angry shouts behind her, but she didn't stop. She rushed to the dance floor, hoping to blend in with the crowd.

However, her heart raced when she heard them yell her name. Fear clouded her mind, and just as she thought she might escape, a strong arm blocked her path. She was yanked back into the VIP block and the door was slammed shut behind her.

"Leave me alone!" Jisoo cried, trembling in fear. She had no idea who had grabbed her, but she could feel the terror mounting as the men continued banging on the door.

"It's me... Taehyung," the voice said. Jisoo looked up, her tear-filled eyes meeting his. There was an odd mix of fear and relief in her gaze.

"Why are you running?" Taehyung asked gently, but before Jisoo could answer, the men started knocking furiously again, their voices growing louder.

"Get out, you b*tch! Come on!" they shouted, trying to break down the door. Jisoo's fear intensified as she realized there were too many of them, and if they got in, she didn't know what would happen to her or to Taehyung.

Taehyung seemed to sense her panic and without warning, he gently but firmly pushed her down or the couch, hovering over her in a way that made her feel exposed and vulnerable.

" Play along," he whispered in her ear, his breath hot against her skin. Jisoo froze, not sure what to do. Her body trembled as Taehyung leaned closer to her, pinning her wrists above her head and pressing his body into hers.

"I promise I won't hurt you. Just play along," he whispered, his tone calm but firm.

Jisoo hesitated but nodded, the situation spiraling out of control. She knew it was the only way to avoid those men, so she did as Taehyung asked, albeit with discomfort and unease. As she feigned a moan, Taehyung's chuckles filled the space, his playful demeanor contrasting with the tension in the room.

"Good girl," he whispered, and the words hung in the air just loud enough for the men to hear. A moment later, the door was burst open, and the group of men flooded in, but their gaze immediately fell on the scene in front of them.

Jisoo's heart raced as she lay beneath Taehyung, her face hidden behind his large hand. She could hear the men muttering, but they didn't seem to question what was going on.

"Yes, baby... just like that... moan my name," Taehyung said in a low voice, playing the part for the men who were still trying to piece together what was happening.

The group of men backed off slowly, leaving the VIP block without a word. As soon as the door slammed shut, Taehyung loosened his grip on Jisoo's arms and helped her sit up.

"You're a good actress," Taehyung teased, laughing lightly at the situation. Jisoo, still trembling, avoided his gaze, her thoughts consumed by the fear of what could have happened had he not been there.

Sensing her discomfort, Taehyung took her hand gently and kissed it, offering a small comfort. "Don't think about it. You are safe now. They won't hurt you."

Jisoo didn't say anything, but she was still shaken. She wasn't sure why she trusted Taehyung, but in that moment, she knew he wouldn't harm her. As he began to leave the room, she pulled him back.

"Don't go... I'm scared," Jisoo admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. She had never been this vulnerable with anyone before, but something about the way he was there for her made her want to hold on to him.

Taehyung turned around, lifting her chin so she could meet his gaze. "Aren't you scared of me?" he asked, his tone serious.

Jisoo didn't respond, her silence telling him all he needed to know. Trust was hard for her, but she trusted him in this moment.

Before she could react, Taehyung pinned her against the wall, his face serious, but there was a flicker of something softer in his eyes.

"You've got me wrong," he said, leaning down to her neck, but she didn't pull away this time. She was still trembling, but there was a strange peace in her as she allowed him to come closer.

He adjusted her dress, pulling it back up to cover her shoulder and sighed in annoyance. "I'm not in the mood," he muttered before standing up and walking toward the exit.

Jisoo smiled slightly, knowing he wouldn't hurt her. She gathered her belongings and changed into more casual clothes, excusing herself from her coworkers. As she stepped out of Forget It, she saw Taehyung waiting for her outside, just as he had promised.

He opened the car door for her, and she climbed in, strapping herself in.

"Thank you," she said, her voice soft. She was grateful, more than she could express.

"You're not working here anymore,"

Taehyung said, more like a command than a suggestion. Jisoo turned to him, confused by his sudden directive.

Taehyung could sense her confusion but didn't press the issue. "What's your choice?" he asked, his tone gentle despite his previous words.

"I'll quit," she said, her voice steady despite the fear still lingering in her chest.

"Are you serious?" Taehyung asked, his eyes narrowing as he glanced at her.

"I am... I don't want to work in that kind of environment. I'm scared," Jisoo replied, her gaze fixed straight ahead.

Taehyung smiled slightly, hearing her finally admit it. "Good. Because Lisa already knows," he teased, his lips curving into a playful smirk.

Jisoo's eyes widened in shock, unable to process the news. She looked at him with disbelief.

"Don't worry," Taehyung laughed, "she hasn't figured it out yet. But you should quit as soon as possible."

Jisoo nodded slowly, still shocked by his words, but her gaze shifted past him, caught by something in the distance.

Turning to look, Taehyung saw exactly what she was looking at.

"Jisoo... What are you doing here?"
