The rest of the evening had been perfect, from the delicious food to the piñata cake Jungkook had surprised her with. Inside the cake was a beautiful diamond necklace—something she hadn’t expected.

As Lisa recalled the memory, she absentmindedly touched the necklace now resting around her neck. The blush on her cheeks deepened, and she covered her face with her hands.

Her first confession, their first date—it all felt like a dream.

The flight attendant's voice snapped her back to the present as passengers were asked to prepare for takeoff. Lisa smiled to herself, leaning back in her seat.

Even though Jungkook had left early for his schedule, he had left her with a heart full of love and memories she would cherish forever.

The plane hummed softly as it prepared for takeoff, and Taehyung leaned back in his seat, glancing sideways. Jisoo was seated between him and Lisa, her expression distant, lost in a maze of thoughts.

He had planned this moment meticulously, making sure he could sit next to her for the flight back to Seoul. It wasn’t a coincidence—it was his way of ensuring that even the smallest opportunity to be near her wasn’t wasted. But the silence between them now felt heavy, almost suffocating.

Jisoo sat quietly, her gaze fixed on the view outside the window. Her mind, however, was far from calm. She couldn’t deny the whirlwind of emotions that had been stirring within her since the previous night.

Taehyung’s sudden confession had left her stunned. She hadn’t known what to say, hadn’t even had the courage to fully process his words. The memory of his intense gaze, the raw sincerity in his voice, replayed in her mind over and over again.

"I love you, Jisoo. And I’m serious about this."

Her immediate reaction had been disbelief. He had to be joking, right? Taehyung, the arrogant, aloof CEO, couldn’t possibly be serious about her. Could he? She had pushed him away that night, retreating to the car without uttering a word. The tension between them had been palpable ever since.

Taehyung shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He wasn’t used to feeling this way—unsure, vulnerable, and overthinking every move. Confessing to her had been one of the hardest things he’d ever done, but keeping his feelings bottled up had been unbearable.

He turned his head slightly, his gaze landing on her side profile. Her soft features, the way her lips pressed together in thought, and the loose strands of her hair framing her face—it all made his heart ache with longing.

A small smile tugged at his lips as he leaned closer, brushing back the hair that had fallen over her face. His fingertips lingered for a moment, and the unexpected touch startled Jisoo.

She turned to him sharply, their faces mere millimeters apart. Her breath hitched as she met his deep brown eyes, so close and filled with something she couldn’t quite name.

“Can I... just for once?” Taehyung murmured, his voice low and hesitant. His gaze dropped to her lips, and Jisoo froze, unable to process the question until she felt herself nod ever so slightly.

That was all the permission he needed. The small gap between them disappeared as Taehyung leaned in, his lips meeting hers in a soft, tentative kiss.

It wasn’t rushed or forceful. It was gentle, a quiet exploration, a moment shared between two souls trying to understand each other. Jisoo felt her heart race, the warmth of his lips sending a shiver through her.

But she couldn’t let herself fall—not completely, not yet. She pulled away, her cheeks flushed, and turned her head to the side, avoiding his gaze. Her hands fidgeted nervously, betraying the storm of emotions swirling inside her.
