I turn around toward the heavy huge doors. I could hear papyrus shouting at sans from afar. I couldn't help but giggle. Sans.... He..... He seems like a great person. I could feel my face heating up for a moment but then instantly shut it down. No... Not again. I can't let something else distract me from my life. I let out a sigh and stare back down at the trophy case, damn I should probably see a doctor.
"Yeah!!! It was a fun night, can I have your number?" I hear a voice down the hall say.
I look towards the gym and many people were leaving, soon one voice turned to many, and it felt like a school again. I could see humans and monsters alike walk around the halls, trying to make it to the exit of the school. The first wave of people opened the door to find papyrus carrying sans in his arms over his shoulder.
"Greeting humans, and monsters!!!! I hope you enjoyed the party!" Papyrus happily shouted. I could hear everyone thanking him, and also stopping to have side chats with him.
"Aww whose this little skeleton?" I hear a human say
In his booming voice, papyrus replied. "It's my lazy brother! I don't blame him though... He does have work in the morning"
The human looked confused, "O-Oh...I thought h-he was a child skeleton...
I started to laugh out loud. A few people who walked passed stared at me. Oh right- I'm not apart of that conversation am I? I tried to go back to listening into the chatter of papyrus and the human but I couldn't hear them amongst everyone's voices. I sigh and look down at the trophy case one more time. My eyes... is it a disease? Wait what??? I look back down at the case and my eyes were back to (e/c). Huh...
"U-Uhm excuse me?..." I look up to where I hear the voice... Standing in front of me was a bunny monster. She was wearing a beautiful pink dress that was short and sparkly. I was almost jealous of her...
"Oh- Hello, is there anything you need?" I tried to sound polite but I know I didn't...
"Y-Your uh... e-eyes.... they're... pretty..." Aw how nice, I smiled and tried to say something but before I could, she ran away. I looked around to maybe see where she went but, nothing... Huh...
Before long, everyone was out of the ruined school, besides the hosts. Toriel, Papyrus, Sans, Asgore, Undyne, Frisk, and alphys. Oh, and me. I don't know why I stayed, seeing as it was very late but, I just did.
I made my way back to the gym where everyone was partying at. I slowly pushed open the doors and everyone was there.
"Hey punk!!! Where the hell have you been?" Undyne rushed towards me and hugged me tightly.
"Oh dear, y/n, are you alright?" Toriel walked towards me well, it was more of a sprint.
"O-Oh y/n! T-T-There you are!!!" Alphys looked happy to see me. Her smile was almost as big as a half pie.
Asgore just have me a glance, and then looked somewhere near me, then looked away. I'm assuming he was looking at someone else over here... I don't really know who though.
"Hello everyone... I-" My sentence was cut off because undyne hugged me even tighter. "U-Undyne... P-please..." It was getting a little bit hard to breathe.
"Ah! Sorry, y/n..." Undyne quickly let go, and looked a bit bashful.
"Alright, s-so like I was saying... I'm fine, Toriel. And I was outside with sans for a bit, we were star gazing." I smile.
I look around at the three females that surrounded me, and they all had this look on their faces... ohhhh... they shipped us... didn't they?
"Man you guys are super easy to read. It's not happening..." I stand my ground and all of their faces snapped into a saddened look, except toriel.
"B-B-But you were-" Before alphys continued, undyne covered her mouth. "LET HER FIGURE THAT OUT." Undyne shouted, and her yellow girlfriend just quietly shook her head quickly.
"What?" I was very confused at everything that happened today and now... they're talking about something I did??? I literally just met these people...
Frisk came running over to me and latched onto my leg.
"H-hel...lo?" They tried to say something but, it was hard for them. My heart melted at their attempt at speaking. I bent down and gave them a hug, and they embraced me back
"You don't need to speak... Just communicate in a way you prefer." I whisper in their ear. I let them go and stand back up.
"Alright then, just promise you'll always remember what I'm saying" They signed at me.
I smile, and tried to sign back. "Eye always will" That time, I messed up on purpose.
