"Why would you hug him?!" Chat noir says, disgust in his voice.
"What's wrong? Jealous?" Marinette teases.
That conversation was on replay in Adrien's head.
"Jealous? Me? Never." He scoffs.
"I don't know kid, you sound jealous." Plagg says while sitting on top of his monitor.
"Jealous?" He asks himself.
"Am I jealous?" He groans. This was so annoying, he wanted to know why he felt like this. He knew what he needed, advice.
He texts Nino.
After telling him everything, he waits for the answer. Three words. "You like her."
"What, no that's crazy."
"Then explain everything that happened Adrien. Why do you stare at her in class? And most importantly, why do you look so mad when she talks with Felix? One answer. You. Like. Her."
Thinking about what Nino said, Adrien's eyes drift away from his phone, to a magazine. He was on the cover, in the photo he held out an umbrella. The colors were vibrant yet soft, as the rain fell behind him. It was titled "a clap of thunder", a french saying for love at first sight.
Then he remembered, the first day of school, that rainy day, and how as he looked into Marinette's angelic eyes there was a clap of thunder. And suddenly, it all made sense.
Adrien's eyes shoot open. "Plagg. I think.. I'm in love. "

Felix lay in his bed, not able to sleep once again. I needed that? What did she mean? I stood there, like a fool. How embarrassing.
He looks at his hands, and his gaze softens.

The bell rang as the door opened. It was only 6:30, and yet the Dupain bakery was already open.
"Welcome!" Sabine gasps. "Felix! What bring you here so early?""Good morning Mrs. Dupain, I was wondering if Marinette was here? I wanted to talk with her before school."
She smiles. " Oh of course, follow me." They head to their apartment, which is connected to the bakery.
As they enter, however, there is an unexpected guest.
"Felix, what are you doing here?" Adrien says waiting next to the stairs.
"Adrien.. Good morning. Why are you here so early? I was going to accompany Marinette to school, and you?" Felix asks.
"Same."
A thump from upstairs alarms them, and the three race up the stairs to Marinette's room.
Marinette coughs from the floor next to her bed, and sighs. Her hair was in a messy bun, and she was wearing an oversized black hoodie, with reading glasses.
"Marinette, honey are you ok?"
"Yep I'm fine mom." She lays on the floor.
"Aren't you gonna get up?"
"No, the floor is comfy... " She says half asleep.
Adrien laughs and Felix goes to help her up, and extends his hand to her.
"Woah, mom, you look like Felix.. maybe it's because I'm not awake yet."
"I am Felix, Marinette. And good morning." He tells as she grabs his hand and gets up.
"Oh, good-NESS GRACIOUS WHAT?!" She is now fully awake, and turns to see Adrien at the door. "ADRIEN?!" She slams the door close in Adrien and Sabine's face. "WHY ARE YOU HERE?" She says she scrambles for a mirror to fix her appearance.
"I wanted to talk to you on the way to school, but it seems my cousin had the same idea."
"This is UNFORGIVABLE FELIX. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME? I look like such a mess, and ADRIEN SAW ME LIKE THAT."
"Hold on, why are you only concerned for Adrien seeing you like that?" He says a bit offended.
"BECAUSE HE IS A BOY, THAT I LIKE!"
Felix approaches Marinette, who is sitting at her desk fixing her makeup. He puts his hand on her chair around her, and the other on her desk, and leans close.
"Am I not a man also?" He teases with a sly smirk.
Her eyes widen, as she backs up. She doesn't answer because, what is she supposed to say?
He moves closer to her. "Well?"
He chuckles and moves back, the coy look now gone, replaced with a more wholesome one.
"Marinette, you aren't gonna last modeling with me if all it takes is that to get you flustered. And, you don't need makeup." He pauses and moves her hair out of her face. "I've already made you blush enough." He exits, satisfied with how he annoyed her.

(Last night)
Felix's footsteps were almost undetectable as he followed them. He didn't have a good feeling about that black cat, alone with Marinette, at night, with a mask. Everything just screamed danger.
He watched as they ate their ice cream under the enchanting starry sky. But then, he watched Marinette's smile drop as she walked past a poster of a certain teen model. She stared at Adrien, holding hands with another model. They looked so in love. And, he watched how the whole night changed after that.
He could over hear them a bit. "Are.. you ok?" Chat asked her.
"To be honest...?"
"Well, yeah, always be."
"Yeah.. I'm ok." She shrugged off her frown, and replaced it with a smile in seconds.
"You're lying, is it about that buttercup boy? Did he do something?"
She sighs. "I think.. I think he likes another girl, I mean, it makes sense. He has talked about this girl before, she is gorgeous, and confident, and smart.. Everything I'm not. I know it sounds petty but, I've liked him for years, and I've been so obvious, but he doesn't seem to notice. I'll always be just a friend to him."
Felix thought carefully about her words on the way home. She said she wasn't beautiful, smart, and good enough for Adrien, how could she lie to herself like that? And worst of all, his cousin was the boy who made her think like this. This was not acceptable, then the thought popped into his mind:
Adrien needed to see what he was missing, and she needed to see how amazing she was. So, in conclusion, he would show them both.
