I'm Yours

"Plagg claws in." Chat Noir says.
"WHAT?!" She raises her hands to cover her eyes, but he quickly grabs them before she does. He was set on this, he wanted her to know who he was. Now, with his costume off Marinette saw the most shocking thing in her life. Adrien Agreste was standing on her balcony holding her hands, talking to her about his family issues. She couldn't believe it. Her best friend, the only person she was truly open with, he was Adrien. The annoying smiles, cocky remarks, their dynamic: the baker girl and her cat. It was Adrien. Adrien knew her deepest thoughts, Adrien knew her feelings, Adrien knew everything about her, because she had told Chat Noir everything. Her whole body just stopped, it felt like even her heart stopped beating.

"Marinette.. say something." He looks at her with an insecure gaze. "You.." She swallowed hard. "I-I-I-You're...A-Adrien!"
She just stood there.

She couldn't believe it, this whole time she had been crushing on Chat Noir, and telling him all about it! and suddenly she forgot how to stand, quickly she sat herself down on a chair. "I'm.. I'm sorry, it's not that i wanted to lie to you but its just that, as a super hero... I'm not supposed to tell anyone my identity. Are you mad?" He asks.

"That why you knew what I said about Chat Noir I-..."

"I really wanted to tell you this whole time, but what stopped me was.. you got along with me so well when i was Chat Noir but when i was Adrien you used any excuse to get away from me, i thought you hated me this whole time but seeing as you told me- Adrien- that you were just nervous around new people I guess I finally worked up the courage to tell you." He takes a step back, and out of habit he puts his hand on his neck.
"It's so much easier to say deep things with the mask.." He pauses. "Marinette, I did this because... I couldn't hide this from you anymore. It was bound to happen eventually. Over the years, you have become a very important person in my life. I mean, of course there's Nino but he could never understand me like you do, you're my best friend. I hope.. you can accept me for both identities, not just the black cat one." The emotions in him were so raw, so real that it moved her to look past her shock. Chat Noir or Adrien, she came to the realization that she didn't care. They we're both the same person.
"This was a mistake.. I'm sorry to bother you-" he said as he started to leave again, he hated himself in that moment more than anything. He made a stupid decision, and just lost the only person who knew him.

Once again, she grabs his wrist to stop him, and he felt the butterflies fly through his stomach. "Chat-Adrien.. It doesn't matter to me, sure its.. unsettling and it took me by surprise but on the inside you're still my chaton." She said getting up from her seat, but as soon as she stood, her legs gave out from the earlier shock and she fell, but of course someone caught her.

She stayed there in his arms, and he stood there looking at her, the blush on his cheeks growing redder and redder by the second. On impulse, and habit, he says a pun to lighten the mood. " Did you do this just so I could catch you? My, my, princess my heart is all a flutter. But if you wouldn't mind, could you get down? Unless you dont want to of course."

She smiles. "You're right, maybe I dont!"

And that's when he knew, he was so sure, he was in love with her. But, that's when she knew, with the way she felt so comfortable speaking with Adrien and the way that her heart hadn't fluttered at all this conversation, she had fallen out of love with Adrien.

Felix liked Marinette?

But, he knew that she liked his cousin so why would he choose to like her? Only to break his own heart.

That night Felix couldn't sleep, he was up wondering all night about it.

Ugh, this was so frustrating! He did like her, but she liked Adrien.And just then his phone rang ,he sat up in his bed, and reached for his phone

"Allegra?" Felix muttered to the air before picking up.

"Hello?" A female voice came from the phone.

"Allegra." Felix said, his tone sharp and as unwelcoming as usual.

"LIAM TOLD ME YOU LIKE A GIRL AT YOUR SCHOOL AND SO I SAID ' NO WAY WHAT DO YOU-"

The call ends.

Felix lets his finger linger on the phone screen where the big red "end" button was.

The phone rings again "Allegra." He says after picking it up.

"WAIT WAIT DONT YOU DARE."

He lets out a frustrated sigh. "fine, however I do wish that you would hurry. It's late here in Paris."

"Ok then, I'll cut straight to the point. I'm coming to Paris tomorrow as an exchange student!! I'm going to be staying with your family, so your mom said you have to pick me up at the airport. I'm coming to learn ALL ABOUT the future Mrs. Graham De Vanily!!" She screams into the phone.

Felix just rolls his eyes. "As an heir, you should pay extra attention to how you speak, especially your vernacular. You also have a tendancy-"

"Oh I hope she isn't a stickler like you. Bye~" She ends the call on him this time.

In the car that morning, when Felix and his driver picked up Allegra, she wouldn't stop badgering him with questions. "What is she like? Wait, wait don't answer, I don't trust your judgement."

"I hope you won't badger her with questions like this." Felix says, annoyed, looking out the window.

"You didn't deny it. You like her, don't you? like, like like her."

The car goes silent for a beat, then Felix looks at Allegra straight in the eyes.

"Yes.. actually, I do."

"I can't believe you just admitted to it.."

"I'm not stupid, Allegra. I can acknowledge the fact that that I like her." He would had denied it, he would have refused to like her if she was anyone else, but he didn't. Because it was Marinette, and for some reason, he was ok with not having the. "Upper hand" with her, he would let her have it the rest of their lives if she would only keep it.

"Liam told me all about her, her pretty blue hair, the way she makes you act." She fawns. Ever since they were kids, she had always been a hopeless romantic. "The way she makes you smile, laugh, he even talked about that news tabloid about you and her and how you embraced her so enthusiastically! I cannot."

But when they arrived, she did not see the flustered version of Felix she wanted to see. She saw the most intriguing thing ever, she had learned from Felix that Marinette was in love with Adrien and that she was a total mess with him, but something didn't add up. Maybe Felix had switched the names because, she didn't see Marinette blushing for Adrien, but she saw both cousins flirting with her.
