When day broke camp did too. Starhunter spoke up, "Guys what are we even doing now?"

"Running." Said by Muck

"From what? Deepreef? The Nightwings? The Seawings in general?" Ash asked somberly. They all stayed silent. "We could run away." Wingshredder said. "We could escape all of this and live in a small town somewhere." Everyone pondered. "We have a job to do. And I'm not quitting 'till its finished." Ash said, "I don't really care about the job, but after he stabbed in the tail with one of those daggers, I want to take his head off." Muck said, "The Nightwings were gracious, with all of us, lets not betray them." Starhunter put in. "Well where are we headed?" Ash finally asked. "The Sand Kingdom. Deepreef is T-ed off that Abyss was captured, I'm sure of it, and he is going to go to the Sand Kingdom." Everyone looked confused. "Who's Abyss?" Wingshredder finally asked. "You know, the Seawing leader of that band that caught us?"

"You know her name?"

"Yeah, she talked to me." Muck squinted at him, Wingshredder looked confused and Ash looked let-down. "We can't dawdle over this. We have to move." Wingshredder commanded. "Agreed." Starhunter said in return. So they took to the skies, heading further south to reach the Sand Kingdom.

Abyss was in the Sandwing dungeon, there was screaming and sounds of torture. It was not unlike Deepreef's dungeons. She was periodically visited by guards to bring her food and water and other things she needed to live. She hadn't told them she was a Seawing commander and they didn't know. She liked to keep it that way. She had no clue how long she had been captive, there was no sunlight, and no other way of tracking the time. She heard the sounds of fighting, she knew it was probably just an ornery prisoner. There was no hope of escape, she groaned and laid down, it was going to be a long time.

The Peacekeepers were close to the Sand Kingdom. They needed to find Deepreef, and stop him. It took a few days but when they finally touched down it was nice to rest their wings, they went into the main city, the Scorpion Den. They meandered around a while, looking for somewhere they could stay or do something. They eventually found an inn of all places and walked in. The store owner saw them and rushed to the bar. "What'll it be folks?" he asked cheerfully, the Peacekeepers noticed the place was very empty. "We'll take a roast pig."

"Eating light for four dragons aren't you?"

"Yeah, but we got stuff to do."

"Coming right up." They got their pig and ate before leaving. With renewed vigor and morale they set out finding where Abyss would most likely be held. They assumed either the dungeon in the castle or the prison system. Getting into said prisons would be hard, seeing as they were nobodies, with not even a Sandwing in their ranks. They would have to be really good at convincing. After walking around a bit longer, mostly sight-seeing they saw it, and smelled it. The dungeons had smoke rising from them.

This time the sound wasn't just a prison fight, it was full on war. There was yelling, swords and knives clashing, roaring, sounds of fire breathing. Abyss knew who it was. Deepreef had come to rescue her. The air smelled of charred dragon flesh. The door got knocked off the hinges by a Seawing soldier, who promptly got a spear in the back. She ran out of the room to a group of Seawing who got her shackles off. She saw Deepreef himself killing swaths of Sandwing guards, they started running towards the exit, excited to leave. There were dragons with broken skulls, claw marks all over their bodies, burned, some were covered in Rainwing venom, which was odd. At that moment four very familiar dragonets burst through the door. All but Starhunter ran towards Deepreef before immediately running away when they were almost killed. She scowled at Starhunter before shouting out, "Starhunter! What are you doing here?" He ran up to her, "Come on we gotta get out of here!"

"Why should I come with you?"

"Because you don't have to serve that maniac anymore! You could just pretend you died in the prison break!"

"But, he'll kill my family."

"Not if he thinks you died."

"Well, maybe." Things were falling down around them. Starhunter tugged on one of Abyss' front forelegs before running out back out the door. Deepreef was in such a blind rage he didn't notice the four dragonets sneaking out, he was too busy killing Sandwings. The dragonets flew back to the Scorpion Den and hid in an abandoned building until they heard probably thirty dragons' wing beats coming from the dungeon. They hid for about thirty minutes. Wingshredder spoke up, "That was terrible. We didn't do anything."

"Abyss might abandon Deepreef."
"So?"

"..." They just stared at each other, deep in thought. Ash spoke up, "We obviously can't take him. We're just a bunch of dragonets, and Starhunter might have Nightwing powers." Starhunter blushed, he tried to keep his powers secret, he didn't like using them. He thought it was a serious invasion of privacy. They all sighed and shook their heads. "What are we going to do about now? What happened happened."
