─ Kida! Did anything happen? Tuk told me you didn't come to the clan today and ─ Tsireya said when she arrived, but a voice stopped hers.

─ Why are you all here? ─ Tsu'kida said. Her eyes looking confused but at the same time... sad? Neteyam also noticed her ears were twitched as she asked.

─ Hey are you okay? ─ Neteyam said placing one of his hands on the girl's arm, making her look at him. She gave him a reassurance look and a small smile.

─ I'm okay. ─ she answered to him, looking into his eyes trying to make him believe her words, but it didn't work ─ But answer my question, why are you three here? ─ she spoke turning back to the other two girls.

─ Tuk looked for you all over the island and didn't find you, she got worried that something had happened to you... ─ Tsireya intervened with worry in her eyes, that made Tsu'kida's heart hurt.

─ I was here the whole time, nothing happened to me, okay? ─ the Metkayina spoke looking down at Tuk and giving her a small smile.

─ But why didn't you come today then? I wanted to ask you to come with me and Neteyam to practice with the Ilus... ─ Tuk gave Tsu'kida puppy eyes look mixed with her worry.

─ I... needed some time alone today, something happened and I didn't feel well, that's all.

─ I know we aren't close or anything, but I think I talk for both of us saying that we are here for anything that you need, even if it's just company. ─ the boy said while grabbing his sister from the shoulder, Tuk nodding agreeing to what her brother had just said.

Tsu'kida smiled at them while her eyes cristallized, showing how much those words actually meant for her since she hadn't had anyone there that cared about her for years.

─ And I know it doesn't look like it, but I still worry about you. Being away doesn't mean that I don't care about my childhood best friend, you know? ─ Tsireya finally spoke, walking in front of Tsu'kida and hugging her. ─ You still have me here, Kida. For anything.

─ But if people sees you with me... they will start talking bullshit about you and your family and I don't want that to happen again Tsireya... ─ the girl said, pulling away from the hug and looking at the other Metkayina with tears rolling down her cheeks and her ears down.

─ Wait... you got away because of that?... ─ Tsu'kida looked at her eyes with pain in them ─ Oh Kida... I never cared about what the clan said and you know that! I've been missing you every single day, blaming it all on me when it wasn't even our fault, the clan's minds and words did this to us... ─ Tsireya's eyes got glossy, with tears fighting to come out. She hugged again Tsu'kida, this time tighter than before, making the other girl break down into tears.

─ I missed you so much Reya. ─ she said, her voice cracking from her sobbing.

Neteyam was now holding Tuk in his arms. He had walked a bit away from the two girls, giving them the space they needed to talk. He stared at the scene with understanding in his eyes, he could see what Tsu'kida had gone through just by the few words they said about it.

The two girls stopped hugging and smiled at eachother, getting their to foreheads meet while the tears kept rolling down their eyes, now from happiness. Tsu'kida pulled away and looked at Neteyam, who had a small smile on his lips now. She walked in his direction and pulled him into a hug with Tuk, they both had gotten her and Tsireya together again, something she couldn't be more thankful for.
