The sun rose brightly, some beams getting into Tsu'kida's home throught the entrance. The Metkayina opened her eyes slowly, finding herself up on her swing, moving a bit side to side due to the breeze that got into her house. She stretched her arms confused since she didn't remember going back home the day before.
Tsu'kida looked up at the ceiling, remembering what happened last night, remembering how cute Neteyam was for letting her sleep on his shoulder, even though he could have just left her there. She got het hands to her face, covering it completely while she sat up. She slid her hands down her face, softly pulling her skin by the pressure she made.
The Metkayina was about to jump down when she saw him sitting on the floor, his back lying on the wall and his arms wrapped around his legs. He had his face turned to where her swing was, laying on top of his ankles. Tsu'kida stared at him in awe, not believing he had brought her back home and spent the whole night in that position.
She now jumped down, walking slowly to where Neteyam was lying peacefully, not wanting to wake him up or scare him.
Tsu'kida stopped right in front of him and looked down with a soft and warm look. She kneeled down to be face to face to him and got her hand out, placing it on Neteyam's hair. She moved her hand through his braids carefully, not wanting to startle him.
Neteyam's head moved a bit feeling the girl's touch, his ears flickering a bit. He slowly opened his eyes and got his head up, meeting directly with Tsu'kida's eyes.
─ Hey... ─ he said with a sleepy tone in his voice. Tsu'kida's eyes closed a bit, a small smile showing on her lips and her ears going a bit down.
─ Good morning. ─ she spoke softly, making Neteyam smile now, repeating the same actions that she had just made.
─ How did you sleep? ─ Neteyam still had the same sleepy tone on his voice, which made Tsu'kida's heart feel warmer by just hearing him. He stretched a bit and yawned, moving his legs and crossing them in the front.
─ I slept well... How did you sleep? Isn't your body aching for sleeping in the floor? ─ the Metkayina said with worry in her eyes, making Neteyam laugh softly. ─ Hey don't laugh, I'm actually worried.
─ I'm okay, don't worry. I'm used to sleeping in the forest so this is more normal than sleeping in a swing or a small bed for me. ─ he answered with a smile on his lips which showed his fangs. Tsu'kida smiled back and her ears went down a bit.
─ We should get going now, everyone must be worried about you... ─ Tsu'kida said getting up and getting her hand out for him to grab it.
Neteyam took it and she helped him up, leaving them inches away from the other's face. They stared into each other's eyes, as if they could see everything behind them, everything they wanted to say, every and each thing they were feeling at the moment.
Tsu'kida moved her face to the side, trying to hide the flustered look she had now in them. Neteyam did the same and stepped back, leaving them in a considerable distance for their breaths to go back to normal.
─ I'll go and get some fruits for us to have in the way... I'll wait for you outside. ─ Tsu'kida quickly spoke, grabbing a basket and walking out of her home, leaving the Omaticaya alone.
Neteyam's hands went up to his face, covering the nervousness it showed now. He got them up and brused his braids back, his gaze going down as he did this. He tried to calm his breathing and it worked almost completely, so he started walking outside, closing his eyes when the sun got directly into them.
