You were sitting in class, bored and staring out of the window. It was already pretty chilly outside and half of the students had their warm coats on during classes. Completely zoning out watching the view from your window you saw small white dots start to fall, very slowly and thinly but it was there.
"Its snowing." The class looked at you, your classmates as surprised and even more excited now jumping up and down because of the snow.
Snow in Tokyo was pretty rare, it got chilly but never really to the point of snow. It only snowed once or twice a year which were always the best days of the winter. This time as you continued staring out of the window you realized the beautiful snowflakes were becoming bigger in size and the snow was becoming heavier. The snow was actually laying on the ground instead of melting and withering away.
You were excited, maybe there was going to be enough snow to build a tiny snowman?
Of course you couldn't leave during class period, and you remembered that when your teacher reminded everyone of it and told your classmates to take their seats. At that you just rolled your eyes and continued observing the weather. You had a few classes until school was out, maybe then there would be more snow. So you continued watching.
And there was. As the bell rang the students flooded out of their classes everyone completely ignoring the cleaning duties, including you. Instead of going down stairs to the campus field like everyone else including Hina, you ran up to the rooftop. You didn't expect Chishiya there today since it wasn't lunch time and as you opened the door as you expected no one was there. No one except you and the snow. The beautiful snow.
The air smelled like snow, it was cold but weirdly comforting. Your hands were starting to dry up already and your face turn pink cause of the cold but it still felt oh so nice.
You slowly stepped on the white surface, there wasn't a lot to the point where it covered your feet completely but there was definitely enough to build a snow man. Maybe you could even throw a little to the people down the building who had no idea you could bullseye them from high up.
The view was beautiful. It was still snowing, a little laying on the trees. Everything looked so pure and felt pure.
You were putting on your gloves when you heard the door creak open. A familiar figure was approaching you and as you saw who it was. you smiled, as always.
"Hi." He said looking at you straight in the eyes. Oh those eyes, what was it about them that made them so strangely sweet? Was sweet the right word? You didn't know.
"Hi, want to build a snow man with me?" You said grinning from ear to ear. You already knew the answer of course, but it never hurt to ask.
Observing the boy, you looked down to his hands and realized he didn't have gloves which made you frown. You took out your lavender gloves from your pocket, put on on your hand and the other on his.
"I never agreed." He said, still not daring to take his eyes away from you.
"Don't you like snow?" You asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No."
"You're lying!"
"Its cold."
"Yeah but its so beautiful."
"And useless." He was smirking, very slightly but it was there. His sarcasm always stayed the same. Although, was it sarcasm? Definitely. Snow is everything but useless.
"Nonsense, come on, you don't have a say in this." You formed a snowball and hit it straight at him. Not running away in case he didn't hit back. Surprisingly he crouched down forming a snowball aswell and smirking.
