Carson's POV

Y/n and I arrive home. I walk upstairs to my bedroom while Y/n walks to the kitchen to make dinner. I open the door to my room and lay on my bed, looking up at the ceiling in deep thought. I can't stop thinking about Ramsey for some reason. The determination in her eyes, the way she spoke. Oh man, the way she spoke gives me butterflies. What is this feeling? I can't tell Y/n about it or else she'll flip.

A few minutes later, she calls out to me, "Baby bro, time to eat." I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen. I sit and we eat. The whole time, she's on her phone, reading something. "Whatcha looking at, sis?" I ask.

She glances up, "I've been looking at this 953 file, it's tight! The majority of what Ramsey said is on here." "Does it say anything about the connection with her and 953," I ask. She passes me her phone and I scan through it. My eyes widen upon reading a particle section. I hand it back to her.

We clean up our plates and sit down on the couch to watch the news. I switch on the TV and we become entranced by the flashing screen. "I can see now why Ramsey would want 953 dead. I would be mad if I saw someone doing that to someone I know," Y/n says. "True," I reply. "I kind of feel bad for her now. No one should ever see that, ever!" she states. "Well, there's nothing we can do about it. It's history," I explain. "Or is there?" she says, her thinking face on.

I see her expression. "Please, don't get any ideas. I'm not in the mood to deal with any and you know how those end up!" I say, annoyed." "Who said I was thinking of any?" she says, obviously bluffing. I roll my eyes. She looks at the clock, "Oh, and would you look at the time! We should go to bed." "Alright," I say.

She shuts off the TV and we head to our rooms to change and go to sleep. The whole time I'm laying in bed, I wonder what crazy ideas she has in store before the feeling of drowsiness creeps up to me and I fall asleep.
