Yu-Gi-Oh! Xenus II

Koji's time at DHA was so much better than his time at KCA. The students were friendlier, the duels were more fun, and classes were more interesting.

Koji loved that he was going to school with his best friend again. Yuko has been by his side for years. They grew up together in New Domino City. They were like brothers. Then Yuko's grandfather died and Yuko just wasn't the same anymore.

Koji remembered how sad Yuko became. His duel skills got worse and he just kept losing his duels. Then there was the bullying. Koji wanted to help Yuko, but no matter what he did, the bullying got worse.

Then Yuko decided to transfer to Domino Heart City and attend DHA. Koji knew it was for the best, but hated seeing his best friend go.

Now they were reunited and Koji loved it. He felt as if he should've left KCA when Yuko did.

"I'm really loving this school Yuko." Koji said as he walked to his next class with Yuko. "DHA's so much better."

"You're going to love your Duel Monsters Mythology Class. I took it last year and-" Yuko thought back to the duel he had with his old DM Mythology teacher, Mr. Tanaka last year. "Let's just say Mr. Tanaka wasn't always my biggest fan."

"Why am I not suprised?" Koji really admired how much Yuko has changed. He seemed more like his old self. Koji was proud of Yuko when he heard about the war that took place last summer. When Koji found out that Yuko was the one who saved the city, he knew that he had to attend DHA for the next school year so that if anything else happened, he could fight on Yuko's side. "So catch me up to speed. What all happened last summer?"

"Well," Yuko looked forward and saw a few students closing their lockers. One student turned and Yuko saw the face of his old friend, Alec Donta. Yuko froze as he watched the student with Alec's face combust into flames. "Alec!!"

All of the students in the hall stopped and stared at Yuko. Koji tapped Yuko's shoulder. "You okay? Who's Alec?"

Yuko blinked and the student with Alec's face seemed be alright and didn't have Alec's face at all. The students in the carried on with their day. "Um...what were we talking about?"

"Last summer. What happened? You told me your were going to tell me everything."

"Oh...I'll just give a small summary for now." Yuko really hoped that he wasn't suffering from post-traumatic stress, but just seeing things and his dreams seemed to have been getting worse with each day. Yuko felt his heart stir and his Mark of Unity burn a little.

Koji noticed a small spark of light on Yuko's right hand. He saw a tattoo with six symbols. Then it disappeared a second later. "Uh what was that?"

"The Mark of Unity." Yuko said as his heart stopped stirring. "A lot happened last summer. I lost a lot of friends and I learned things about myself that I wish I didn't know." The warning bell rang. Class was going to start in two minutes. "I have to go class. I'll tell you the rest later okay?"

Yuko left and Koji entered his Mythology Class. He was worried about Yuko now. Koji sighed and closed his eyes. "Poor kid. I wish I was there to help."

When Koji opened, his eyes and he saw someone standing very close to him. The two made eye contact and it made Koji very uncomfortable. "Hi! I'm Sho! What's your name?"

Koji stepped back. "Uh Koji..."

"Nice to meet you Koji!"

Koji noticed that they were still very close to each other. "Hey do you mind taking a step back? I like my personal space."

"Sure thing buddy!" Sho stepped back. "Wanna sit together? There's an empty seat next to me!"

Koji looked around and saw that there wasn't any more seats that would've separated him from Sho. "Um..."
