Jonah stormed into the waiting room and let out a frustrated cry. "I can't believe this!!"
"I warned you about Ichitawa," Yusuke said. "You didn't listen."
"Whatever! I'll get him back another time," Jonah vowed. "No one makes a fool of out me!" He walked towards the exit and left the waiting room.
Yuko sighed "He sure is something."
Yusuke laughed and looked towards the television. The referee tapped his mic. "The next match is about to start."
"Who's ready for the next match?!" The ref screamed. "After that last duel, I'm even more pumped to see what's going to happen next! So let's bring out our next two duelist!!"
The referee pointed towards the big screen over the field. "Let's hear for Neji Fudo and Yusuke Muto, the King of Games!!!"
Neji gulped. He was pretty nervous to duel Yusuke. He was going to duel the King of Games. "Well...we're up..."
Yusuke stood and pulled out his gear. "Seems so. Good luck."
Kira and Sho had been in the audience since they got back from the hospital. They had been present for Jonah's duel against Ichitawa.
"At least that jerk is out of here," Sho said. "He was totally cramping our style. Right Kira?"
Kira looked down. She was still pretty shaken up about her first encounter with Jonah when he bullied her. "I guess..." She looked up at the screen and wasn't sure how to take the next match up. "Do you think Neji can win?"
"Neji? Of course! He's as strong as Yuko and Koji. He even beat Benta I heard," Sho replied.
"That's I why I wanted to get here to watch this duel," Someone said from Kira's left. It was Tammi.
"You're back so soon?" Kira asked.
Tammi took her seat. "Yeah. I wasn't going to miss Neji's duel. He's our friend."
"How's Koji?" Sho brought up.
Tammi's face darkened. She still felt bad that Kenji put Koji in a coma. "He's still out...I don't know long it'll last. But hey, let's focus on Neji. He needs our support."
The three watched as Neji and Yusuke shuffled each other's decks and walked to the opposite ends of the field. "Go Neji!!!" They cheered.
Neji's father, Mr. Fudo, had been waiting patiently for his son's match. He wasn't sure on how Neji would stand up against Yusuke, but he knew somehow that Neji would be fine.
"Good luck son," He said to himself. "I have faith in you."
"Duelists, are you ready?!" The referee yelled.
"Yeah," Neji activated his gear. "I'm not holding back Yusuke!"
Yusuke followed. "I truly do hope you don't. Let's go!"
The two drew their cards. "Duel!!"
