Yu-Gi-Oh! Xenus II

Tammi laid on her living room couch alone and stared at the ceiling. She still couldn't believe what Kenji did to Koji. It was like someone had possessed her brother. Kenji had never acted out like that before or even lost his temper like that.

"What's wrong with you Kenji?"

As if on cue, the front door opened. Kenji entered the Itaru household and strolled into the living room.

Tammi jumped up and noticed her brother and immediately sighed. "Where've you been? It's late." She tried to not get mad.

"Sorry. I was at the hospital." Kenji's voice sounded low like he was sad. "I paid Koji a visit."

Then Tammi's nostrils flared. "Yeah and you see how bad you hurt to him then!" She couldn't keep anger down anymore. "What were you thinking?!? You almost killed him!!"

Kenji nodded. "I know."

"Oh well did you that the doctors aren't sure if he'll wake up or not huh?!?"

Kenji looked down. "Look T-"

Tammi cut him off and raised his voice. "No you look! You hurt Yuko's best friend!! Why were you even so angry anyway? Koji didn't deserve that!!"

Kenji sighed and took a seat. "I guess I was still angry at Yuko."

Tammi raised her eyebrow and sat too. "But why?"

"He didn't trust him. Not with that mark on his hand. He almost killed you once and I just didn't want that to happen again. I only wanted to protect the only family I have left..."

Tammi rolled her eyes. "Are you kidding me?! Kenji, I told Yuko this, I can take care of myself!!"

Kenji shook his head. "No you can't."

"Yes I can!! I'm an Itaru too!! I'm just as powerful as you can be!!"

"Then why weren't you able to stop me and Shun from fighting?"

Tammi froze. She hadn't thought about that. She thought back to when her brothers dueled and how powerless she felt because she couldn't do her duty as a grey-eyed descendent of Itara. "I didn't know-"

"How to control you powers at the time?" Kenji added. "No excuse. You're suppose to be a peacekeeper and you failed. That's why I can have you getting into trouble or getting hurt."

Tammi got angry. "Okay that's no excuse!! You know I'm a strong duelist!! Why do you keep treating me like I'm some fragile girl? I can take care of myself!!"

Kenji eyes started to burn a little. He stood up and turned away, but Tammi kept yelling at him.

"I don't know why you constantly make me out to be the weakling!! I am sick and tired of you treating me like this!!! And why are you so afraid of Yuko? You should be afraid of yourself!!! You're being a hyprocrite and you can't realize that!!!"

"No!!" Kenji snapped. He turned to face Tammi and his Eyes of Itara were glowing in its bright blue light. "I only rage out because you can't protect yourself!!"

Tammi slowly stepped back to gain distance from her brother. She started to tear up. Kenji actually went to that level with his own sister. "I...I don't know who you are anymore Kenji..." Tears rolled down her face. "Because you're as hell not the brother I know."

Kenji's eyes slowly started to return once he realized how hurt Tammi felt. He looked down. "Tammi...I'm sorry..."

Tammi shook her head. "No you're not. You're only going to get angrier for whatever reason. I honestly think its not about Yuko at all."
