Yu-Gi-Oh! Xenus II

Tenza Sawatari and Thomas Wheeler were engaged in a fierce duel. Tenza was dueling on the offensive while Thomas was guarding himself.

Thomas didn't want to duel, but Tenza provoked him far enough that he had to fight for his life. He just Zeo Summoned his ace, Golden-Eyes Fortune Dragon. He knew he could gain the upper hand now.

"Last chance, let's end this duel now while we can still both walk away," Thomas said.

Tenza rolled his eyes. "No way. I won't be getting home if I walk away from this duel."

Tenza controlled only Royal Embassador of the Monarchs and Modius the Frost Monarch on the field. Though he was only down to 200 Life Points, he was determined to win. "Let's keep this going!"

"Fine then."-Thomas

•Thomas(3800): Zeo Summoned Golden-Eyes Fortune Dragon(Earth/Lv.7/2400 atk).

"I can banish a Zeon Unit to flip a coin and if it lands on tails, I lose 2400 Life Points. But if it lands on heads, you lose 2400 Life Points!"-Thomas

"What?!"-Tenza

"Let's see what happens."-Thomas

Activates Golden-Eyes' effect. (Golden-Eyes:2 ZU/1 ZU) Flips a coin and lands on heads.

"I guess you lose."-Thomas

"I think not!"-Tenza

Tenza activates Monarch Reflector.

"While I control a Monarch Monster, you lose the damage instead of me!!"-Tenza

"Good. Now this gives you another chance to stop this duel."-Thomas

"Haha. Nice try, but I can't do that."-Tenza

"Well...guess I'll use my dragon's second effect then! I can roll a dice and whatever number I land on, Golden-Eyes' attack points increase by 200 times that number!"-Thomas

Activates Golden-Eyes' second effect. (Golden-Eyes:1 ZU/0 ZU) Dice lands on 5. (Golden-Eyes:2400 atk 3400 atk)

"Attack his Royal Embassador with Fortune Fire!"-Thomas

Attacks Royal Embassador of the Monarchs with Golden-Eyes.

"I activate a trap!"-Tenza

Tenza activates Shift and selects Mobius.

"Now your target is Mobius!"-Tenza

Attacks and Mobius with Golden-Eyes.

"And then since you're now attacking a level six Monarch Monster, I can negate your attack with this next trap and add three Monarchs from my deck to my hand!"-Tenza

Tenza activates Monarch Decree and adds Raiza the Storm Monarch, Caius the Shadown Monarch, and Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch from his deck to his hand.

"Impressive."-Thomas

Sets 2 cards.

"I end my turn."-Thomas

"You should've tried better to finish me off. Now I'm going to end you."-Tenza

"Tenza, we can leave this place together."-Thomas

"I've told you this before. No thanks. Since it's my Standby Phase, I'm Special Summoning the Treeborn Frog in my graveyard thanks to its effect!"-Tenza

Activates Treeborn Frog's(Water/Lv.1/100 atk) effect from his graveyard and Special Summons it.

"And I'll tribute it to summon this!"-Tenza

Tributes Treeborn Frog and summons Gemini Stone of the Monarchs(Earth/Lv.5/0 atk).

"Gemini Stone can tribute itself to Special Summon two level four or lower Monarch Monsters with the same name from my deck!"-Tenza

Activates Gemini Stone's effect and tributes it. Special Summons two Royal Monarch Paupers(Earth/Lv.2/300 atk) from his deck.

"Next I'll meld Royal Embassabor and my two Paupers to bring out the big boss!!"-Tenza

Melds Embassador(Earth) and the two Paupers(Earth) to Zeo Summon Venuvian the King Monarch(Earth/Lv.8/2800 atk).

"Enjoy these last moments because Venuvian's going to finish this! I can banish all three Zeon Units to discard three Monarchs from my hand to increase Venuvian's strength equal to the combined strength of discarded Monarchs!!"-Tenza

"Tenza, please...."-Thomas

"Sorry. I can't let you leave here alive."-Tenza

Activates Venuvian's effect three times. (Venuvian:3 ZU/0 ZU) Discards Raiza the Storm Monarch, Caius the Shadown Monarch, and Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch. (Venuvian:2800 atk/10000 atk)

"Finish this guy and show that I'm the one who will be going home! Omega Smash!"-Tenza

Attacks and destroys Golden-Eyes with Venuvian. (Thomas:1400/0) Tenza wins.

Thomas faded away into nothing and Tenza did regret it. But he knew that he had to kill Thomas in order to return to Domino Heart City.

He took a deep breath and walked away. "Who's next?"
