"So how was it?" Cameron asked as he walked into my room.
"Who let you in?" I asked.
"Your mom let me in." He said.
"Okay but anyway man it was good." I stated.
"Really wow so what now?"
"I don't know but the connection I have with her is really special honestly even though it been like one date."
"Come on Sammy you guys liked each other for three months and yeah just take things slow."
"Yeah that is what I am doing and besides there is a reason I lied to my mom yesterday where I was going?"
"Which probably a good reason right?"
I sighed. "Look I really like Erika a lot and want to make her mine but if I could get my parent's divorce out of my fucking head then maybe I could see myself have a long lasting relationship."
"Yeah that is true but why don't you tell your mom how you feel?"
I rolled my eyes at him and scoffed. "I love my mom but it is really impossible to talk to her about it because I know she will say and also it is easier to tell my dad about it."
"So how long are you going to keep it from her?"
"Until I am ready Cameron and it would probably takes like four years."
A/N:It took him a few months but Valerie already knew just waited for him to tell her.
He looked at me with a stupid look on his face and then laughed. "Wait really four years?"
"I don't know but that is what I have to do."
"I feel like there is more you are not telling me."
"What more there can't be other than having commitment issues because of a divorce my parents had."
"You are not lying about commitment issues though but man just focus more on yourself and your relationship than blaming yourself on the divorce." He said.
"You are not wrong."
"And people say I am horrible with advice."

"Hey mom can I talk to you about something?" I asked.
"Sure what is it?" She questioned.
Just tell her like how hard can it fucking be.
"Actually never mind." I said.
"Sammy you know you can tell me anything right?"
"Yeah I know but I forgot what I was about to tell you so it doesn't matter anyway."
"Are you hiding something?"
What does she knows and how though?
I scoffs. "I wish I was hiding something mom but I am not so I am just gonna go out and I will be back before dinner."
