Lujanne had allowed us to stay with her for the time being. It wasn't that bad of a place, I managed to get at least 1 or 2 hours of sleep. It was the next day and I followed Callum, Ezran, Ava, and Ellis up the hill because of some kind of food Lujanne had prepared for us.

"Come and get it, everyone." Lujanne spoke and showed us a large table with lots of food. "Elves and humans over here, and those with three or more legs can sit there, with Phoe-Phoe!" I placed Nyx down by Phoe-Phoe and went to go sit down with everyone else.

"You named her Phoe-Phoe?" Ellis asked. "She is a Moon Phoenix. Her name is short for "Phoenix-Phoenix"" Lujanne said with a smile. I grabbed a fruit off the table, after close inspection, I took a bite out of it. It didn't actually taste that bad.

"You have the best food up here. What's your secret?" Ezran asked, taking a bite out of a jelly tart. "Well, my secret is... is that its all fake." I stopped myself from taking another bite of the fruit and looked at Lujanne. "Pardon?"

Callum also looked up from his food. "What do you mean?" "You know, fake. They're delicious illusions. You're actually eating grubs." I instantly regretted swallowing that last bit of food. I felt my stomach churn.

"Oh, you must mean "grub." As in "Wow, this is some good grub."" Ezran spoke. "No. Do you see what Phoe-Phoe is eating?" We turned towards the large bowl of worms. I already felt what I had just eaten starting to rise back up my throat as I tried to not assume the worst.

"That bowl of worms?" Phoe-Phoe had taken a massive amount of worms from the bowl. "Yes, that's right. Those are grubs!" Callum spit out his food with came back out as worms. I covered my mouth as to not puke over the table. "I don't care!" Ellis said continuing to eat the food. "This illusion pie is the best I've ever had."

I turned to my side and puked. Gosh, what a way to start the day. Sitting back up, i wiped my mouth from the puke. "Hey, everybody." Rayla greeted as she walked towards us. "Well, you're in a good mood."

"It does feel good to have two working hands again. Uh, no offense, Ava." Ava looked up from her food and barked. "I can slish and slash with both swords again!" Rayla called as she appeared on the top of a cliff. "I can clap. Do handstands.." When she jumped down, we gave a small clap.

"I can even do that thing you do when you finish a nice song and dance, you know." Rayla did jazz hands. "And how's everybody else feeling?" She put her hand to her ear and leaned in a little towards us.

"Amazing!"
"Great!"
"Fantastic!"
"Okay."

"Good! Cause its time to go." Saying that caused complains from the rest. I personally didn't really care.

"What?"
"No! We can't"
"Why do we have to go?"
"We've only been here two days."

Rayla placed her hands on the table. "Danger's coming for us, I know it." "Isn't it always?" I asked. Rayla shot a glare to me before continuing. "The longer we stay here, the higher the risk." Lujanne spoke up. "Hmm, she's right. The night the Dragon Prince was born. I sensed something amiss. Those strange purple wisps... Dark forces are pursuing you."

"Nobody like dark forces, which is why.." She used her hands to make to circles and then pointed towards where we came. "Making use of those two hands, huh?" Rayla put her hands on her hips. "You bet. Besides, we've got special cargo to deliver. War's coming like the world's never seen, unless we get the wee dragon home to his mum."

Zym had pressed his paw down on his bowl making it flip over onto Bait. "But Zym, he's so little. He still needs to learn how to fly." Lujanne chuckled. "You seem to have a special connection to the dragonling. Perhaps you could teach him?" "Me? I could try." Callum stepped in. "And I was hoping to learn something about Moon Magic while we're here." Lujanne nodded. "Hmm. I could show you some things."

"Hey! I thought you were supposed to be on my side?" Rayla said looking at Lujanne. "A few more days, Rayla, that's all we're asking." Rayla sighed. "Fine. One extra day. One! But I'm serious about the danger. I'll keep patrolling. Everyone else, stay on your toes!"

"Except you! You work on getting off those toes." She spun around and pointed at Zym. He let out a sheepish yip.

Rayla left to go patrol, Callum followed Lujanne to go learn Moon Magic, Ezran took Zym to go teach him to fly, and Ellis left with Ava. I sighed and got up. I could just catch up with Rayla and patrol with her.

""Oh, can't we stay a bit longer so I can learn to do some magic tricks?" And, "Oh, I wanna play around with the wee dragon." Rayla had been talking to herself. I leaned against the pillar finding this entertaining. Rayla scoffed. "Humans!"

I leaned against the pillar and watched her. "Only the noble elf cares about keeping us all alive, apparently."

"Ouch, Rayla! I don't think you could've been more harsh." I spoke with fake hurt. This caught her attention and she spun around, her face could only be described as shock. "Oh, I didn't think you would be here." I walked over. "It's alright, I won't tell them." I shrugged.
