Three

Jungkook comes back into the room holding my jacket, my bag and big bowl of my favourite noodles about 20 minutes later 

Jungkook: The boys are still going strong

You: Oh wow

Jungkook: Jimin mentioned your phone kept ringing

You: How weird, I wonder who it is

I take my phone from my bag and check it, a private number has called me 10 times... what the fuck

You: A private number has been calling me... I wonder who it was 

Jungkook: Just keep an eye on it

You: Hm, yeah I will but I probably wouldn't answer a private number anyways, plus, it was probably Teahyung

Jungkook: Oh speaking of Taehyung, him and Yoongi eh?

You: Oh god! 

Jungkook burst into laughter as I blush in embarrassment 

You: It's just, within that room, those two make sense

Jungkook: Why's that?

You: Well Namjoon and Seokjin are off limits, Hoseok I see as a brother and Jimin, although I know him differently now, on that first date we had I thought he was just the sweetest and knew it wouldn't be more, but now I know he's actually a total badass but I still think of that first Jimin. So that leaves Taehyung who I know is up for it and I know your past with him, and Yoongi who is this older mysterious boss man you know? Plus I know he's not scared about getting with a guy or a girl so ticks that box

Jungkook: Hm, very interesting

You: I promise I don't sit and think about fucking your friends...

Jungkook: If I thought that you think I'd take you there or let them be that close with you?!

You: No I know but I get worried

Jungkook: I'm confident in us and what we have that us playing stupid games with my friends doesn't concern me. 

We look at each other with such love, this man is just amazing

You: Soooo, this might not be the best time to ask you but my parents of course want to be able to meet with you properly... how would you feel about a lunch or something?

Jungkook: Of course, we can go anywhere and it'll be on me... got to impress the future in-laws

You: Don't tease!

Jungkook: You really want me to meet them though?

You: Why wouldn't I? I'm so proud of you and it's the first thing in my life they can be happy with

Jungkook: Ah don't be like that, you know they're proud of you

You: No Jungkook, they're not, I've done nothing but ruin things my whole life

Jungkook: Like what?

You: I was a little shit growing up, we argued like crazy and we hated each other when I was in my early teens, I think I was rebelling after being abandoned and then adopted and was just not very nice. I was always in trouble, I was taking drugs and drinking...

Jungkook: What? You never told me that...

You: It's never really come up and after you told me everything with you I felt like it was too awkward to bring up. I was of course not like my cousins, it was more of when I went out clubbing

Jungkook: Where were you getting it from?

You: My friends would get it and I would give them the money, they probably bought it from you!

I try to joke and lighten the mood and he giggles too

Jungkook: So they fell out with you over that?

You: Well no, that was just part of it. They found out one night when I snuck back in and they could tell I was high, but then I tried to be good and got good grades so I could go to university and make them happy. I chose going abroad to get away from everyone and maybe enjoy where I was born but we know how that ended

Jungkook: But that wasn't because you were some shitty drop out

You: That's exactly how I am to them and my family though, plus the whole feud with my sister

Jungkook: Yeah you've never really explained that fully

You: Oh god, this is a very honest night isn't it

Jungkook: As it should be, you know the worst of me...

You: Don't say it like that. It's just your past, not the worst of you, there is no such thing

Jungkook: Cutie

You: So, my sister actually hates me because she feels like I always steal her boyfriends...

Jungkook chokes on his noodles

Jungkook: WHAT? 

You: When I was 16 she was seeing some guy and he actually moved in with us, he had no job and I wasn't in school as it was the holidays and it meant we spent a lot of time together. He was of course much older than me at the time but one day he kissed me, he tried to go further but I was so inexperienced I stopped it in sheer panic. He said sorry and he'd never do it again but he did and my sister caught us

Jungkook: Oh shit! You little jail bait

You: Shut up! 

I shout at him playfully

You: But yeah then after that, any time her relationships failed she blamed me and said I was sleeping with them or seducing them in some way and my parents thought I just wanted to ruin her life and make sure she'd be single forever. My sister is an amazing liar and she can convince anyone of anything

Jungkook: Well to be able to turn parents against a daughter she must be good

You: That's why I'm so scared what she's going to tell you

Jungkook: Well technically haven't you just stolen another man from her?

You: Oh shut up will you!

He can't stop laughing at me

You: When I moved away for university she got married to that old guy and I wasn't invited to the wedding

Jungkook: I went to the wedding, it was like she invited everyone from the business world and she was trying so hard all night to sleep with one of us... how weird if you would have been there! 

You: Can you imagine? God meeting all of you there would have been way too intense 

Jungkook: Why, that's what happened in the office?

You: Yeah but I didn't interact with any of you... I just sat there silent in the corner 

Jungkook: My little pom pom 

You: So lunch with my parents?

Jungkook: When?

You: Sunday?

Jungkook: Sure, I'll book somewhere nice and send them a car 

You: Thank you so much Jungkook, I really appreciate it

We settle into bed and my phone makes a little buzz, I quickly check it before falling asleep
