Three

It's Friday evening and we've just gotten home, it's my birthday tomorrow and I know Jungkook or both of them are planning something, they've been all weird and mischievous 

They've told me they've both got something important to do this evening so won't be here so Jimin, Taehyung and Hoseok and I are going out to a club they really wanted to visit, apparently somewhere Taehyung goes a lot

I'm getting dressed and ready to go out when Jungkook comes in to find me

Jungkook: Where is it you're going tonight?

You: Somewhere called 'Winter Bear' 

Jungkook: Oh yeah, I know the place. How are you getting there?

You: Jimin said we'll all go together and they'll come here when they're ready to leave

Yoongi joins us too in the dressing room and we smile at each other 

You: You sure you two can't come too?

Yoongi: We might be able to meet you there later if you're still out?

He looks at Jungkook for confirmation

Jungkook: Tae and Jimin are involved, of course they'll still be out... but you're right, we might be able to come meet you 

You: That would be so good! 

Jungkook: Y/N... will you please take protection with you? I know those boys will guard you with their life and they're all dangerous little fuckers but it will help me

You: What type of protection? I've been out to clubs before and been fine

Jungkook: No I know, but I guess you've not been out much since we've been together or not without me... what would you be happy to have on you?

You: I don't know? What are you thinking?

Yoongi reaches into his pocket and pulls something out and hands it to Jungkook

He opens his hand to show me and it's a switch blade just like his one but it's a nicest colour of pastel lilac, my favourite colour, he's clearly done that to trick me

You: You want me to carry a knife?!

Yoongi: It's just a precaution Y/N... you don't need to use it but if you had to pull it out I'm sure whatever was happening would stop

You: What if I hurt someone or someone uses it on me?

Jungkook: You know that we know first hand things can get out of hand but I'd rather you had something on you should you ever need it. Please, for us?

Yoongi: It will help us to know you've got the boys plus your own way of defending yourself

Jungkook: And look how pretty it is!

I laugh at them, they're being so cute and protective, I can hear the sincerity in their voices

I take it from Jungkook and put it into my bag that's sitting in front of me and can almost hear them sigh in relief 

Yoongi: By the way, it's really fucking sharp, don't play around with it

You: Thank you, both of you... I promise I will keep myself safe

I hear a load of shouting coming from the front door

You: Sounds like my escorts have arrived
