An Unknown Feeling ( A JIKOOK FF)

Hoseok turned out to be friendly giving Jimin and Tae tips on campus and shortcuts to and from buildings. He talked about his passion for dance, asked Jimin and Tae what they are interested in, gave tips about the clubs.

He was truly a sunshine, making Tae and Jimin comfortable in his presence. Hoseok always saw the best in everyone, he saw how genuine both of them were. Initially Jimin was hesitant but Hoseok was able to break down his walls. Hoseok caring nature truly helping conversation flow with ease.

Yoongi initially was introverted and only asked basic questions fearing that he shouldn't intrude into Tae and Jimin's lives. But seeing Hoseok there, that bridge was already crossed.

Slowly seeing that Tae and Jimin seem comfortable and honest people, Yoongi opened up a bit, talking here and there and adding inputs to what Hoseok was saying. But his sharp eyes always noticing everything.

Jimin had never laughed so much with people he just met. Tae and him were getting along with them without it seeming like they were older than them. They treated Tae and Jimin as friends making conversation flow easily.

Yoongi was especially impressed by Tae, the freshman who had bumped into him and confidently introduced himself had definitely left a mark. Seeing his body smile and eyes lightening up at Hoseok's antidotes to each club and professors.

Tae being the beautiful free spirit, always attracted attention either by his charming, handsome face or his friendly yet slightly mysterious demeanor. So it was inevitable that people are mesmerized by him. He was openly bisexual and never one to hide his opinions no matter what. Which Yoongi was enamored by, but didn't let it show.

Yoongi thought Jimin was a bit goody too shoes. The boy rarely shared his opinions, even if was friendly he was reserved which he was sure will change over time as they become friends but overall a cute naive kid.

When Jimin had mention that he is from Busan, a chirpy Hoseok had added that Jungkook is also from Busan although his parents are now settled in Seoul, his grandparents are still live there. Jimin literally chocked on the meat he was eating. Once he calmed down he just said," That's nice." Even if for reasons 'unknown' to Jimin he found the fact a little sweet and a smile creeped in and a warm feeling bubbling in his chest.

They had ordered their food, a variety of grilled meat, gimbap, Japchae, Seolleongtang and Chimaek.
As they were waiting, Namjoon and Jin joined them.
"What a lovely gathering, hello Jimin and Tae. How was your first week at the university?" Namjoon enquired.
"Hi, it was good. A bit overwhelming though." Jimin pouted.
"Jimin don't worry, just stay on top of things and you'll do great, you don't need to be like Moni and study everyday unless you wanna be the topper." Jin chinned in.
"Thanks Jinnie. But seriously guys, don't worry too much. Just go through what you did in class. Also these are the perfect years to figure out things." Namjoon said.
"Yes Namjoon hyung, we will. I'm so excited for the clubs and other activities." Tae said.

Conversation flowed easily, Namjoon telling them about the Student council, what the requirements are and hilarious stories about how he ends up breaking things without intending to.

Through it all, Jimin's mind kept drifting to the missing freshman. Was he not coming? Did something happen? Why did he care? He didn't (really) he was just curious.

Suddenly his thoughts were interrupted. " H-Hi guys, sorry I'm late." Jimin looked up to see who it was. Just to find the doe eyes staring at him. He offered a polite smile.
" Hi Jimin" Jungkook said.
" Hi Jungkook"
" What are you guys doing here?"
"We-We"
"Shopping, we went to the Han river in the morning." Tae said cutting in. Then proceeded to tell their adventure through out the day.

Through the story Jungkook payed attention to Jimin, this shy cute little boy had captured his mind. Why did Jimin let people cut him? No doubt Tae seems nice but Jimin didn't bother completing his story. Why did it seem that Jimin was scared to take up space? He seemed to smile at Tae's recollection of their day. So if seemed to Jungkook that they were close despite it just bring a week.

Every time Jimin looked up, he and Jungkook ended up making eye contact and Jungkook seemed to offer a kind smile.

Enjoining the food, they all shared their first week experiences. Jungkook recalling that the current dance club President Yunji had bumped into him on his way to the orientation. He introduced himself and suddenly Yunji had said that he had heard about him through Hoseok and requested him to show a few moves. Hesitantly he had started dancing and suddenly a group had started to form. After that people kept praising him and pleaded him to dance and sing.

Even while he was citing the incident, he was embarrassed and his cheeks had turned pink. Which Jimin found adorable, acknowledging that he wasn't the show off that Jimin had initially thought.

Tae provided stories of how gossip spread and first two three days all they heard was how talented and handsome Jungkook is. And how Jimin was annoyed by that.

As soon Tae said that everyone looked at Jimin. Jimin wished the earth would swallow him and save him this embarrassment.
" Well, it was weird and like the gossip was uncontrollable. Like I introduced myself to someone at the orientation and all she could do was gush about you. No one wanted to talk about classes or anything. Imagine how annoying that must have been." Jimin offered looking down embarrassed.

Jungkook chuckled making Jimin look up and he was again met with those pretty eyes already smiling at him. Small moments like this made Jimin feel seen, this beautiful doe eyed boy was truly messing with his heart. Since childhood he had always been told he is too much, too sensitive or too naive or too bubbly and often misunderstood. He lad always been an outsider in this world but in this moment he was content as Jungkook did not mind and was instead joking about his unwarranted fame.
