An Unknown Feeling ( A JIKOOK FF)

"Come on now, let's go. We don't want to be late." Jimin said as the clock showed 11:40pm. Both rushing to the bathroom and quickly taking a shower. Mostly making out as they lathered each other up then rinsed. Jimin grabbed two towels, dried Jungkook and then himself.

"Are you okay? I told you needed more prep." Jimin grumbled as he waited Jungkook limp a little.
"Jiminshiii, I'm good. In fact I'm very very satisfied. So don't worry. Plus, now you get to take care of me." Jungkook said proudly.

"Yes. That I will." Jimin said as he peppered Jungkook's face with kisses.
"Let's get ready now."

As soon as they entered Namjoon's apartment, everyone screamed "Happy Birthday Jungkook." Jungkook eyes lit up with excitement as he saw all his friends especially Jin hyung. He was immediately surrounded and pulled into conversations.

Jimin laughed as he walked into the kitchen and brought out the cake. Jin had personally gone to the bakery to make sure it was ready and picked it up before coming.

Jungkook smiled doubled as he noticed the lights were dimmed and Jimin walking towards him with the cake as everyone started singing Happy Birthday. Jimin truly looked like an angel.

Jungkook wished as he blew the candles then blushed as he made eye contact with Jimin. Soon as everyone was talking and eating the cake. Jin announced that it's time to open gifts.

Jungkook opened gifts one by one until he reached Jimin's gift. As soon as he opened it, he was so excited and pounced on Jimin.
"I can't believe you got me the Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium. Thank you thank you so much. God, you're the best boyfriend."
"Well I'm so happy you like it."
"Like it is an understatement. I love it so much. I love y- that you put in so much effort and consideration."
"Obviously I'd do anything for you."

As Jimin pulled him into a passionate kiss. Jungkook had to hold back a moan as his hands were in Jimin's hair and Jimin's hand rubbing his back. Once they pulled back,Jungkook chided himself for almost slipping out the words in front of everyone. Luckily, Namjoon cleared his throat and both of them got up.

The rest of the night they were inseparable, and Jungkook told the story of how he knew Jin was coming and Namjoon blurting out details thoughout the week. All of them laughed, drank and enjoyed to their hearts content.

Tae wanted to pull Jimin aside for a chat but Jungkook clung onto him stating it's his birthday and no one can take Jimin from him. Tae begrudgingly said fine and continued to share his embarrassing story.

Tae had told them that when they went to his house, he wanted to fulfill one of his childhood fantasies of having sex in his room. But when they were doing it, Tae's parents came home early and almost caught them. Yoongi was so embarrassed that the remainder of the weekend he didn't even touch him.

Jimin sympathized with Tae but agreed with Yoongi joking that if his parents heard him having sex they would definitely give him a whole showdown of focusing on studies and this is not the time for a relationship. Tae complained some more saying that Jimin's sounding like Yoongi but Jungkook didn't take his side saying that was risky.

As guests started to leave, only their close group remained. Jin told them stories from the theater world and how sometimes he missed all of them. Namjoon had become busier this year as he was the youngest President to be elected to the student council and couldn't visits Jin often.

Soon both of them retired to their room, Hoseok grumbled about sleeping on the couch as everyone laughed. Jungkook rested his head on Jimin's shoulder as his arms closed around his torso. He was exhausted and with Jin hyung around they both behaved like siblings and bickered over things.

After a few more hours of chatting, Jimin noticed Jungkook had nodded off. Tae joked about Jungkook's slight limp and couldn't believe Jimin being the rough one. To which Jimin rolled his eyes at Tae and gently brushed Jungkook's hair off his face. Jungkook hummed softly as Jimin told him that they should go back and sleep in their bed.

Next day Jungkook was swamped by everyone wishing him happy birthday but he didn't let Jimin slip away and kept him beside to him. Classes went by as usual but during dance practice Hoseok had planned a small surprise party with all their friends and classmates.

Jimin and Tae reached a few minutes later as they were working on a project which was due by the end of the semester. Jimin stood by the door as he saw Jungkook laughing with his classmates and team.

Jieun walked upto him and offered him a polite smile. He didn't have time to deal with her but she stopped him.
"I'm sorry Jimin. I really am. Hoseok hyung gave a dressing down for it for months. I can be very competitive and jealous. It's just I have to accept reality and move on. I'm sorry again."

Jimin's jaw tightened, " It's okay. But you were outright mean and rude to me. I still don't get why you did what you did. But if you truly like someone you don't need to push others down to make yourself look better in front of your crush. Plus you're only apologizing cause of Hoseok hyung and not on your own accord."
"I just wanted to let you know that I'm really sorry."

Jungkook who had noticed Jimin looked at the conversation and his blood boiled. He had warned Jieun to stay away from both of them. He immediately excused himself and marched to them but before he could say anything. He overheard heard Jimin and couldn't be more proud. He rushed and hugged him tight. Whispering in his ears how proud he was of Jimin standing up for himself. Then both of them walked into the party giggling and giddy with excitement.
