"And Monaka," Beerus cut in. Whis glared at him, sighing.

"And Monaka. But mainly you. I'm doing this because I want you to try and improve yourself during this tournament, Goku." Whis spoke, giving the man a stern look. Goku pouted, but didn't say anything more, instead turning his attention back to the arena as the referee called out another name, the Metal Man named Auta Magetta.

"Is this seriously allowed? He's a weapon, you can't have weapons in the matches," Vegeta yelled, glaring at Champa. Champa smirked, clicking his tongue.

"How ignorant are you? That's a Metal Man, everyone knows they're not robots," Champa said. He clapped his hands together, looking at Vados expectantly, grinning. "Another thing. Due to Magetta's large size, he is incapable of flying. To make things more even, we've decided to add a temporary rule."

Vados tapped her staff on the ground, a large cubic shield forming around the arena. Vegeta's eyes widened in both anger and panic as he had now been locked inside the ring with Magetta, who suddenly looked much bigger inside the small bubble. Vegeta tried not to be deterred by the unfair rules, crossing his arms as he looked the Metal Man up and down. It was completely silent, making Vegeta smirk. If he had to guess, the thing was incredibly slow. It seemed Universe 6 wasn't the greatest at picking their contestants.

As soon as the referee signaled the start of the match, Vegeta flew right at it, fist cocked. He slammed his fist directly into its center, a loud bang echoing throughout the arena. Not even a second later, Vegeta's eyes were watering as his knuckles felt as though they had completely shattered. He had no time to shake the pain off either as Magetta's giant, metal fist flew at him, punching him directly in the chest and sending him flying. Vegeta crashed against the shield surrounding them, groaning in pain as he forced himself to stay afloat.

"Is this really fair? That thing could kill Vegeta in there," Beerus spoke as he and Whis watched the two fight. Vegeta was completely unable to land a hit, both because of Magetta's surprising speed, and because he was simply too hard to hit.

"I suppose they do have to accommodate each contestant, but this seems a little excessive..." Whis muttered, watching Vegeta dodge flying balls of magma. Even with his insane strength, getting hit with pure magma would instantly kill Vegeta.

The small room started getting filled with smog, making it difficult to see and breathe. Vegeta huffed, covering his mouth and nose with his arm as he transformed, doing his best to dodge Magetta's attacks while not passing out from the lack of oxygen. He was going to suffocate at this rate and needed to finish off Magetta quickly.

"Fine, let's see how you handle this," Vegeta muttered in anger, clenching his jaw as he glared at Magetta with a deadly look. He pulled back his hands, a purple ball of ki forming in his hands. "Take this, Galick Gun!"

Vegeta shot the beam at Magetta, Magetta retaliating with a stream of magma pouring out of his mouth. It completely covered and blocked the Galick Gun, solidifying and turning into a large club. Magetta grabbed the solidified lava, swinging it and slamming it into Vegeta, knocking him out of the air. Vegeta crashed into the arena, skidding to a stop right over the edge. Vegeta's head was spinning in pain as he tried to regain his wits, the thunderous sound of Magetta walking toward him waking him up.

Vegeta jumped to his feet, floating up to the ceiling of the barrior, panting as he tried to breathe through the thick smog. Vegeta coughs out a chuckle, running out of patience and time for this match. His pride wouldn't stand for him to die to something as little as suffocating in smog. He needed to overpower Magetta, now.

Without wasting a breath or uttering a single sentence, Vegeta powered up as much as his Super Saiyan form would take him, holding his palms out toward Magetta. A bright ball of energy began to form, quickly building up with massive amounts of power. Vegeta rarely used this move, and it took a lot of energy, but he had nothing else. This technique was his last resort.
