There are somethings in Mattheo's life that he will never be able to forget, for a lot of different reasons.

He remembers the day that he found out that he was a wizard as a happy day, that he wasn't alone in this world, that there were other people just like him.

The day that he met his best friends Lorenzo Berkshire and Alfre Lancaster was a happy day. The day that Theodore Nott came into his life, well that was mixed emotions, but he was happy to have Theodore in his life.

Meeting Artemis Bellator is the happiest that he has ever been in his life. He has never connected with someone as quickly as he did with her. In her, he found a kindred spirit. A girl who is violent when people challenge her or her friends, who is the greatest of listeners to her friends, who will help anybody who asked for it. The one that Mattheo trusts with his life above all others.

But, to see her now, infected with a piece of a fractured soul of Mattheo's worst enemy. It's his worst fear brought to life.

"Bells..." Mattheo tries to say to Artemis, but it is no good, that isn't her inside of that body right now.

Artemis lunges forward with both of her wands drawn, both handled backhanded to accommodate her unique close combat fighting style.

Artemis slices both wands through the air at Mattheo, blades of darkness fire right at him.

Tom dives in front of Mattheo and blocks the dark magic with ease.

"That is not Artemis. Stop mooing like a cow in labour and defend yourself" Tom snarls at his brother, he cannot defend both them and the unconscious Delphini.

Artemis swipes down at Tom's defensive spell, she uses the momentum to jump over Tom's body.

Artemis places herself in between Mattheo and Tom, and she slashes out either way with her wands, and both Riddle boys have to block her spell.

"Artemis, don't do this" Mattheo screams to Artemis, his shielding spell is failing against Artemis' dark magic.

Artemis swings her second wand around to fight Tom with both of her wands, she blasts Tom backwards, at the same time she kicks Mattheo so hard in his chest that he falls backwards.

"You are both so weak" Voldemort accuses his children. "This girl has power inside of her that she has not even begun to tap into, she is too afraid, I am not" Voldemort is curious as to what this powerful magic inside of Artemis' body can muster up.

Artemis opens up the palm of her hand, and the swirling blue magic gathers in her palm.

"What the-?" Mattheo wonders what the hell that spell is, since he's never seen anything like it.

Artemis throws forward her hand, and a stream of blue kinetic magic blasts out of her hand and right at Mattheo.

Tom is back on his feet, and he fires a stunning jinx right at Artemis' back. The spell hits Artemis so hard that she turns just in time for the beam to go wide and miss Mattheo.
