PERSONALITY AND CHARACTER ANALYSIS: Amina Khan is almost always cheerful and loves being in the spotlight, but she also loves to share the spotlight. She almost never gets angry, but when she does, beware. She has no self-control. She will sometimes hum to herself without noticing, which can be nice but can also get annoying. Despite liking theater and being in the spotlight, she gets anxiety and stage fright often. She can also be clueless when it comes to certain social cues. In addition to singing and acting, Amina also loves sports. She wants to audition for the track team, but she feels torn between that and music. She also has certain medical issues that make sports very difficult for her.
CHARACTER ARC: Amina Khan always wanted to be an actress. She loved acting out her own skits when she was little. She has also always had a great singing voice, even though she never took voice lessons. Originally from Jersey City, she had many close friends there who were Muslim like her and was popular on YouTube, where posted original songs and covers of songs. When her father got a promotion and moved to Utah, she was forced to attend East High, where she didn't quite fit in. She thought that she would love it because she loved High School Musical, but she was wrong. She did, however, make some friends and even landed a role in a play.
