Episode I

The Phantom Menace

Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic. The taxation of trade routes to outlying star systems is in dispute.

Hoping to resolve the matter with a blockade of deadly battleships, the greedy Trade Federation has stopped all shipping to the small planet of Naboo.

While the Congress of the Republic endlessly debates this alarming chain of events, the Supreme Chancellor has secretly dispatched two Jedi Knights, the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, to settle the conflict...

"I wish I was coming with you." I said, turning to Obi-Wan with a smile on my face. He was going with Master Qui-Gon to settle the trade dispute between the people of Naboo and the Trade Federation. Meanwhile I was stuck on Coruscant for the thousandth rotation. Most likely Master Windu would suggest I spend my time in the library to fill in the day. I loved the library but it felt like forever since my Master and I went on a mission for the council or the Republic.

"No you don't." Obi-Wan responded, pulling me from my thoughts. I scoffed, shaking my head. Like he knew what I wanted?

"I do, actually." I corrected his correction, crossing my arms over my chest as we continued on our walk to the hanger that the two were about to depart from. "It sounds like fun."

"A trade dispute sounds like fun?" He questioned, I frowned my brows together. "To you?"

"Okay, it sounds really boring." I admitted with a small chuckle, causing one to bubble from my friends lungs too. "But it also seems better than sitting in the library for the millionth rotation. At least you get to leave the planet for a while."

"Something will be asked of you, sooner or later." He told me. I hummed, nodding my head to the side. A small part of me thought that maybe the council didn't trust me, or my Master didn't trust me. But I tried not to think of that too often.
