INVISIBLE STRING ?

Sora's pov

" Can you please let me know by afternoon because i have to get back to the other things too" i said to the caterer on the call.
" I got a call last minute and the clients want the vegetarian lagsana too. Please try arranging it and let me know " i finished and cut the call.
The clients for this project seem to forgetting everything they want and they would call last minute for everything. I mean you are arranging a party for more than 100 guests how in the world can you forgot what dishes you want? I sighed internally and kept making calls about the other arrangements.
I heard Swift knock on my door, " come in".
" Ma'am this is for the inauguration party " my assistant said handing me a file. I took it and examined it .
" Choi dangjo( taekwondo in Korean) academy?" I said in shock.
" Yes ma'am, they are merging the academy with a judo academy, so it will be taekwando and judo side by side. They want an inauguration party for that" she said explaining.
" Okay that's nice, did you talk about the details, where they want it and anything specific?" I asked looking through the file again.
" Nothing in particular, they just want it simple with some arrangements of bouquets and they said they want it where the academy is" she said, i nodded and she left. Choi dangjo academy is seungchoel's taekwando academy, after getting a black belt he opened it to reach young kids. It's a great academy, i have been there a few times along with Jeonghan

A small smile crept onto my face, that means I can see seungchoel regularly then for work purposes ofcourse. The smile quickly went away when the scenes from yesterday flood my memories. I quickly distracted myself by indulging in work.

At around 4pm my phone rang and the name on my phone screen lit my heart into fireworks.

" Hello" i said quitely as i played with the pen in my hand.
" Hello, I am waiting for you at the academy, did you forget about me again?" He said sweetly
" No no I am on the way" i said getting up immediately and grabbing my purse and getting out of my office.
I signalled to my assistant that I was leaving .
I exited the building quickly
" Really, I could hear your office people you know right?" He said and i feel him smirking to himself.
" I meant that I was like on the way you know, like getting into a taxi" i said as i quickly called out for a taxi and settled in.
" I'll see you in a few " i said and quickly cut the call because my heart would burst if i kept talking to him.
I told the driver to stop by a flower shop and hopefully they had the baby's breath bouquet, his favourite flowers.

I reached outside the academy and walked inside smiling. I could hear him laughing with the kids, his back turned towards me. I walked to him with the flowers in my hands.
" Seungchoel oppa " I called out his name, as he turned around I saw the same flowers in his hands and i see Nara kneeling down talking to a kid.
My heart dropped to my stomach but i kept my composure, I can't run away again.

" Sora " he said waving me over, i walked to him and handed him the flowers
" Congratulations for the inauguration" i said smiling and he gave me a questioning look.
" How'd you know?" He asked smiling a little
" Well by some magic I am in charge for the inauguration party" i said smiling as my eyes fell onto the flowers he already had in hands.
" Well thank you. You and Nara sure do know my favourite flower" he said smiling and looking behind him at her.
She walked over to me and hugged me making me shocked at her gestures. I awkwardly returned the hug.
" How've you been Sora, it's been so long" she said smiling.
On top of everything why does she have to be so nice?
" I have been good unnie what about you" i said smiling and looking over at seungchoel who kept smiling looking at her.
" I am good too Sora,it's great to see you" she said and i nodded smiling.

" How was your flight oppa?" I asked looking over at him, " it was good" he said patting my shoulder.
" If you are free do you want to join us to the amusement park?" He asked
Us? Us as in him and Nara or him and the 5 kids.
" I don't know if i should interrupt your guys outing" i said looking down at my feet.
" Oh please Sora we are already taking 5 noisy kids, we would need another adult to keep these kids in one place" Nara said smiling
" Noona we aren't noisy"one of the kid said to Nara and she laughed and went to talk to them.
I could feel seungchoel's eyes on me
" The kids wanted to celebrate so i decided to take them to the amusement park" he said smiling and looking over at them. I nodded smiling.
" So you'll come along right? After all you are also a kid you'll love it" he said laughing and teasing me. I glared at him and smacked his arm lightly.
I nodded.

We got into the van, seungchoel was driving and Nara was sitting in the front with him while I sat in the back with the kids.
One small girl kept looking at me which made me think i had something on my face.

We reached the park and it was indeed amazing.
" So kids what do you want to do first?" Nara asked smiling.
" Cotton candy" one of the kid screamed making me smile.
After getting cotton candy, the kids ran off to playing different games here and there and I was incharge of the little girl who kept staring at me in the van, while Nara and seungchoel were incharge of 2 each but they were stuck to each other like glue. I aggressively picked the basketball and threw it in the basket.
" Unnie, do you like seungchoel oppa?" The little girl asked making
Me choke on my drink. I coughed slightly and looking at her.
" What are you saying? Why would I ?" I said trying to sound confident but it was coming out all loud and squeaky.
" It's written all over your face" she said smiling and throwing a basket which landed right in. She is good for someone who isn't even into this sport.
" What do you mean, i don't i don't like anyone" i said trying to look away but my eyes fell onto him having fun with her and my face suddenly turned into a glare.
" Look look, you are shooting lasers through your eyes at her" the little girl said in a pity tone, where do these kids learn all of these things man.
" That's just how i am" i said trying to play it cool.
" Unnie no need to hide it, i feel the same as you. You know i also like seungchoel oppa but i have no chance so i gave up" she said feeling sorry for herself. A small chuckle escaped my lips and i kneeled down in front of her.
" It's okay, let's just enjoy" i told her patting her back, in return she patted my back.
" Unnie I knew that I had no chance, you do and still letting him go. I wouldn't" she said as she started walking away. Why are kids so brutally honest. I just shaked my head in Denial and followed her around.

" Okay time for merry go round" seungchoel said making me think of the time when I came here with him and the boys and only me and chan sat on the merry go round and everyone else treated me like a kid.
The kids all quickly got on the horses and seungchoel turned around and looked at me. I knew what he was trying to do so i just shaked my head aggressively trying to say no.
" No no " i said with my hands in the air. He still gently made me go and sit on the horse.
I sat there going round and round.
Everytime I passed by him, it hurt me more.
I think i like him like you enjoy a merry go round, there are so many ups and downs and you just keep going round and round.
I too keep liking him like this, there are moments where he makes me feel so happy like i am on the top of the world and then he would hurt me in ways he doesn't know and let's me down but no matter what i keep going round and round in circle ending up where he always is.
I really do like him like a merry go round.

( Epilogue)
" Okay time for a merry go round " seungchoel said and everyone looked at me.
" Why are you all looking at me" i said gripping on my bag pack strap.
" You and chan are the only baby here, everyone else is not interested" Jeonghan said making me look at him confused.
" I am neither a baby or interested" i said crossing my arms in front of me.
" You do act like one" minghao said making me punch him the chest lightly.
" Make chan,vernon, seungkwan sit on it" i said pushing them forward.
" You don't get to do these things often Sora, let's go" Jeonghan oppa said.
And here i was sitting now sitting on the horse going round and round.
Few minutes in i saw seungchoel get a call and he smiled looking at his phone.
He picked the call and disappeared from my sight. It must be Nara, he has been waiting for her call since morning.
I hate this thing, that I have to equal my liking to a swing like this but I really do! The ups and downs and going around in a circle
I like him like merry go round !
