Hermione Granger, know-it-all of the golden trio is in her 7th Year. Lord Voldemort is after her...
They are losing. The great Harry Potter has fallen. Hermione tries to fight back but the unforgivable hits her before she can run..."AVADA KADAVRA...
A few days later, Hermione found herself once again in the library, engrossed in a pile of ancient books and scrolls. She heard a loud thud and looked up to see Riddle dropping a large book on the table.
"Hey, Hermione," he smirked, taking a seat next to her. "I was just looking through the enchanted book for pureblood families, and I couldn't help but notice that Granger isn't one of them," he said, his gaze fixed on her with an intensity that sent a shiver down her spine.
Hermione was caught off guard. They have a book for that?!?!? she thought. This time period keeps getting worse. She had to maintain her calm. "It's in there, look again." she replied trying to maintain composure.
Tom began skimming through the large alphabetical book of surnames until he reached 'G'. His eyes scanned the page as Hermione carefully held her wand, hidden beneath her robes, attempting some wordless magic. It was a challenging task, and beads of sweat appeared on her forehead as she focused hard on the incantation.
Suddenly, Tom exclaimed, "WHAT?" His eyes widened in shock.
Hermione couldn't hide the triumphant smile that played on her lips. "Told you it's there!" she declared before swiftly gathering her belongings and making her way out of the library.
With each step, her heart pounded in her chest. She needed to see Dumbledore
Dumbledore had told her that it would take Flammel at least 9-10 months to make a time turner that advanced. She hurried out his office, tears threatening to fall. 10 MONTHS? I NEED TO GET HOME... OH GOD.. HARRY...RON..... she thought
She decided to take a walk by the lake to calm her, but it was no use. She fell on her knees on the grass and sobbed. Harry needed her, Ron needed her... she needed him..
In anger, she ripped the time turner off her neck and threw it into the lake. "Oh Miss Granger!" someone shouted from behind. She turned around to find slughorn running towards her out of breath. She quickly wiped her eyes but he didn't seem to notice she was upset anyway.
"I have a message from professor Dumbledore!" he said handing her a small roll of parchment. "And also, I have been thinking, your outstanding skills in potions...." he blabbered on while Hermione opened the letter.

NO NO NO NOOOO. WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME. Hermione couldnt breathe. She felt like she was suffocating.
"so I have this club for my prized students and...."
FUCK I HAVE TO GET IT BACK NO NO. THIS CANT BE HAPPENING
"Thanks professor im honoured" she managed to say, before she turned and the moment he walked away she leaped fully clothed into the freezing lake.
She couldn't see it anywhere. It must have landed further down.
She emerged from the lake sobbing and shivering.
"Are you alright?" a voice asked softly.
Hermione couldnt think straight. Without the necklace, she would be here for almost a year. God knows what would happen to her friends while she is gone. Harry is already gone, maybe coming here prevented it but Voldemort surely has the upper hand...
She grew light headed and fell back into the icy waters. The last thing she heard was her name being called out. The last thing she felt was two hands wrapped around her waist.
