A few weeks had passed since Hermione was introduced as the Dark Lady of the Death Eaters.
Every meeting so far had been the same, all about torture and training.
One cold evening, Tom informed Hermione that they would be attending Slughorn's clubs party together. He didn't give her a choice; instead, he simply stated that he would be taking her and that she should look presentable. Hermione couldn't help but feel annoyed by his manner, but she knew better than to argue with him.
Instead she decided to look "presentable" and knock him off his feet.
That evening, Hermione wore a black glittery dress that hugged her figure, and emphasised her curves. As she entered the room, Tom's eyes widened, unable to tear his gaze away from her. "You look beautiful... I didn't know you could be so..." he said softly before finishing "sexy hermione". He smirked causing Hermione to blush. She took his arm and they walked to the dungeon.
Slughorn, noticing the pair's entrance, approached them with a warm smile. "Ah, Tom, Hermione, you two make quite the striking couple," he remarked, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I had a feeling you two would end up dating. You make a great pair." Hermione coughed, Tom smirked. "Thank you sir". Hermione glared at him. "we are not dating" she said. "Yeah well we do make a great pair grange-.. hermione" She blushed again. What was wrong with her.
During Dinner Hermione felt Tom's hand creep up her thigh beneath the table, causing her cheeks to flush with embarrassment. He smiled innocently at her and she couldn't help but smile. As she smiled at him, Tom felt something, a feeling he had never known before. He ignored it, but knew it was caused by her.
After dinner, the party continued with music and dancing. Hermione found herself swept up in the lively atmosphere, enjoying the chance to relax and unwind. Abraxas Malfoy approached her, extending his hand with a charming smile. He had noticed tom was busy talking to someone and took the opportunity.
"Would you care to dance, Hermione?" he asked, his tone polite and inviting. Hermione accepted with a smile, grateful for the opportunity to escape Tom's intense presence for a moment. As they danced, Abraxas proved to be a delightful companion, engaging Hermione in light-hearted conversation and displaying a surprising warmth and kindness. However, their dance was interrupted by a loud cough, drawing their attention.
Turning around, Hermione saw Tom standing before them, a possessive gleam in his eyes. "Thanks for keeping my lady busy, Abraxas, but I'll take over from here," he said coolly, before taking Hermione's hand and waist and pulling her close for a dance.
Hermione's heart raced as she found herself locked in Tom's embrace, his touch sending shivers down her spine. Despite her conflicted feelings, she couldn't deny the undeniable chemistry between them, a tension that crackled in the air as they moved in perfect synchronization on the dance floor. "Hermione" he purred in her ear. "I want to get out of here" he said, a suggestive look on his face. She was speechless and had no time to react before he took her wrist and pulled her out the dungeon and towards the head dorm...
