It had been days since then and Connor hadn't heard anything from Tommy. Like at all, his friend just wasn't trying. Not showing up every day with food, the daily phone calls had stopped.

Connor dialed the number and held his phone up to his ear, but as usual, it went straight to voicemail.

"Hey Tommy, it is me again. Would you please just call me back, I'm getting worried. We haven't spoken in days, we haven't been this bad since high school. Just call me back, man, please." Connor said as he hung up the cell phone and now, he was looking around at the strangely empty kitchen.

Meanwhile, Tommy deleted the message and he was looking over at Victoria in the corner, who was silently watching him. "I don't understand why he did what he did, I think that he was just pissed." Tommy said and she said nothing. "Look, he didn't mean to hurt you, all right? Trust me because if he wanted to hurt you, you would most likely be dead by now." Tommy said and Victoria nodded slightly.

"Yeah, I know." Victoria murmured softly and she sighed. "Answer his calls, Tommy, it really isn't worth ruining your friendship with your best friend." She said quietly as she was standing up and walking into the kitchen, where Jordan was cooking. "Hey."

"Are you okay?" Jordan asked and Victoria nodded, before she felt a brief muscle spasm in her arm and she winced. "No, you are not. It is still happening, isn't it?" Jordan asked as Victoria nodded slowly. "That goddamn Electric." She muttered angrily.

"It wasn't his fault, Jordan. He got angry on my behalf, when I was telling my story and I tried to keep him from losing it." Victoria shook her head. "I should know better than to get near an angry Electric. Emotions were overriding my judgement on that one." She admitted as Jordan held out her hand to her.

Victoria put her arm in Jordan's hand and the Ferro was turning over her arm and on the inside of her wrists, going all the way up were starburst bruises. It was like a burst of light had gone ripping through her or in her case, an electric surge. "These aren't going to go away, Tori. These scars, your other ones only just started to fade." Jordan pointed out and Victoria yanked her arm away.

"I know. But I also know, that it wasn't his fault." Victoria pointed out as she looked up at the crackling of electricity. "Shit. Tommy, we need help with Jaime!" Victoria called out as she was racing up the stairs, before she hit a strange wall of electricity and she was staggering back.

Jordan caught her by the metal that she wore on her person, just before she would have just gone tumbling down the stairs. "Thanks, Jordan!" Victoria yelled as swiftly now, the Ferrokinetic came running up the stairs and Victoria was leaning against the railing.

"Griff, find Connor!" Tommy hollered down the stairs as he came running up and his little brother had disappeared out of the door, running in the opposite direction. "Ready?" He asked as Jordan floated the metal bound syringe over to him and she was nodding, before he looked at Victoria who nodded as well. "Go!" He said as he caught the syringe and Jordan yanked open the locks on the door and it exploded open.

"The drug isn't working!" Jordan shouted and the syringe was exploded by the electrical force and Victoria backed up quickly. "What do we do?" Jordan shouted.

"Victoria, just go and get Connor and Griff! Get them back here now, and, maybe Connor can absorb the surges as they come! Now!" Tommy shouted and Victoria disappeared into a puddle of water.

Victoria felt queasy as she always did, before she landed directly on top of Connor's truck and the Electric shouted in surprise. Victoria rolled off of the truck and narrowly missed being full-on electrified from the surge. Victoria stood up and her eyes flashed, as she held up her hands in surrender and Connor sighed. "What's wrong?" He asked and Victoria looked up, as Griff came running up.

"Need help, at house. Kid Electric, going, completely nuts." Griff said and now, he was completely out of breath and Victoria was looking over at Connor, who sighed. "Con, we need your help. Please." Griff said and Connor nodded.

"She'll destroy the whole house before we get there by car. Hold still." Victoria said as Griff moved closer to the two of them and Victoria's eyes flashed turquoise blue like the sea, before they all disappeared in a wave of water.

They landed in front of the house and Victoria yelped, ducking as a spare electrical wire was nearly taking off their heads. Connor caught it and he winced, before he absorbed the electricity out of it and he let it fall. "Nice." Victoria said and he shrugged, before they were racing into the building. "Tommy, we got him!" Victoria shouted and she saw that Tommy and Jordan were backing away from the room, as arcs of electricity were exploding out of the room.

"Thank god! Connor, how much electricity can you hold?" Tommy asked and Connor was shaking his head, before he was running up the stairs and Victoria followed as she ducked flying objects, before she was next to Jordan.

"Are we about to find out?" Jordan asked bluntly as Connor held up his hands and his eyes glowed. They could actually see the electricity running through his veins as he absorbed the energy that tore through the house.

Jordan brought over another syringe as Connor moved forward and they could all feel it as another surge was coming, all of them were backing away while he moved forward. As soon as the surge hit, Connor's body lit up like a lightbulb and Jordan was shutting her eyes. Victoria turned away from the human lightbulb and Tommy was shielding his eyes.

"Give him the syringe!" Victoria ordered Jordan and a moment later with no other options in sight or otherwise, Jordan tossed it over in Connor's general direction since none of them could actually see properly and a moment later, all of the noise had stopped.

"It's safe to look over here now." At the words, the other three were slowly opening their eyes and the house had gotten significantly darker. Connor was holding the empty syringe in his hand as he let it clatter to the floor.

Victoria was shaking her head as she felt the adrenaline beginning to wear off, before she was slowly moving past him and she saw that Jaime was peacefully sleeping. Victoria walked over to her daughter and the girl was curled up, unwilling to let anyone touch her without a good shock waiting for them. Victoria crouched down next to her and she sighed, closing her eyes.

"Thanks for coming." Tommy spoke directly to Connor, before the two of them hugged quickly and Tommy yelled in surprise. "Ow!" He said and now, all of his clothes were smoking from the electricity that was still radiating off of his friend.

"Sorry." Connor muttered and Tommy laughed at the word, before he was shaking his head at the words and Jordan was grunting something at Connor, who lifted his eyebrows at her. "What did I do to you, exactly?" He asked and Jordan glared at him.

"You hurt Victoria." Jordan muttered angrily as she was quickly and carefully walking down the stairs, while Connor glanced over at Tommy. Tommy simply shrugged with his whole body as he sighed.

"She's defensive over Tori. They are the only two girls here other than Jaime, after all." Tommy pointed out as he shook his head. "Victoria isn't angry at you, not like Jordan is. Don't worry about it." He said as he nudged Connor, gently tapping him on the shoulder with his fist before he flinched back at the brief electric shock.

Tommy went downstairs to see if he could help with the massive starting of the big cleanup, while Connor knocked on the open door and Victoria glanced at him. "You looked like a human lightbulb." She said and Connor glanced at her, before he found himself laughing at the words as she nodded. "Thanks." Victoria said and he shrugged.

"You owe me now, for that horrible gut feeling from the teleportation." Connor stated and Victoria's eyes flashed with laughter as she nodded. "Have you gotten used to it?" He asked and she shook her head.

"Nope. And give or take, I have only been doing it for... Oh, thirteen years." Victoria noted and Connor narrowed his eyes. "How old do you think I am then, Connor?" She asked, recognizing the look on his face as confusion.

"20?" Connor guessed awkwardly and she was chuckling quietly, before she was now swiftly shaking her head. "Older or younger?" He asked and she smiled quietly.

"I'm 24." Victoria said as she shrugged. "But I have been told that I look 18." Victoria noted and she hopped up, looking down at the sleeping kid as she was shaking her head. "She could have killed us all, without even meaning to." She muttered as she was walking out of the room.
