Whatever It Takes || Code 8: Connor Reed

Victoria spotted Jordan immediately as the other girl was sitting in one of the rafter beams, all of which were metal and Victoria nodded.

Victoria spotted Garrett, who was now sitting in Marcus's office and Victoria's eyes narrowed. "The police get the Pyske, right?" She asked quietly and Connor sighed. "They get the Pyske, right? You are not giving it to Garrett, are you?" Victoria asked and she hit him on the arm. "Answer me!" She said.

"If the cops get here in time, they can take the Pyske." Connor said quietly and she was staring at him, right before she was shaking her head in disbelief and she was walking in the other direction.

Victoria rested one of her hands against the wall, shutting her eyes, as she could feel the water and other liquids as it was moving through the pipes on the wall.

"We have got incoming, I can already just feel, the moving metal." Jordan stated and Victoria's eyes snapped open, before she crouched down on the floor behind some of the crates on the ground.

"Marcus!" Garrett shouted and once Marcus turned around, two bullets hit the drug lord. The rest of Garrett's bullets were reserved for Rhino, who shouted in pain as he fell onto his knees.

Rhino charged at Garrett, while Nia had managed to stumble over to where Victoria was crouched. "Get down." Victoria said and she whistled.

The guns went flying through the air and landed right at Jordan's feet, while Victoria was stamping hard on Marcus's leg and the drug lord screamed in pain, choking on the blood from his gunshot wounds.

"Tori!" Jordan shouted and Victoria spun around to see the problem and Rhino had effectively disabled Garrett and he was holding Connor by the neck.

Then suddenly, the brawn was choking as he let go of Connor and one of his hands was going to his own throat.

Victoria's eyes narrowed with concentration, as she was holding out her hand towards him. "Jordan!" She shouted and Jordan's knives flew through the air, as they were slicing at Rhino until blood was seeping from his wounds.

Victoria's eyes flashed and turned the color blood-red and now, the blood was beginning to rise. Rhino was gagging, choking on his own blood as Victoria effectively drowned him and she was staring at him, the whole time.

Rhino dropped to the ground, finally dead for good after Connor had finished him off with an electrocution via the metal tool that Garrett had stabbed into his eye.

Victoria let the blood go and it was splashing onto the ground, as her eyes returned to their normal brown color and she was looking at Connor and Garrett, as if daring either of them to say anything.

"You're a lot more like me and Dad than you're willing to admit." Garrett stated as she looked at him.

"Go and fuck off." She replied swiftly and now, she was walking over to Jordan and Nia. "Nia, are you all right?" Nia gave her a tight hug as Victoria chuckled softly, before she returned it. "You're all right, I promise."

"I... I am sorry about Tommy." Nia whispered and Victoria nodded swiftly at the words, before she let her go and they were turning around to watch, what was going to happen to Marcus.

"You didn't know." Victoria murmured as Nia looked at her, before she grabbed onto her hand. Victoria inhaled in surprise and now, Nia was taking on some of her emotionally-driven pain. "Nia, stop." She said softly and Nia let her go, surprised she would say something like that. "It's not your fault and I deserve, to bear this pain alone."

Jordan came up on Nia's other side and all three of them were standing in a single line as Connor, he was following Garrett over to where Marcus was lying and he was barely alive still.

"For Freddie and Maddie." Garrett stated with real, true emotional pain in his voice as he stared down at Marcus with utter disgust in his gaze.

"Fuck you." Marcus Sutcliffe spat out and he was wheezing in pain, before Garrett was effectively crushing his windpipe.

Garrett stated at Nia, before he was grabbing one of the guns with his powers and Victoria's eyes narrowed in confusion at the sight of him giving the gun to Connor and she tilted her head to the side at the sight of it.

"What the hell is going on here?" She quietly asked and Connor silently took the gun from Garrett. "What are you doing with that gun?" She asked as she was looking around at the room, just feeling the water, plus just about everything else as she was ready to fight again if she had to.

"You came to us, to heal your mom." At the words from Garrett, Victoria's eyes went to Nia, who was silently pleading with Connor to not make her do it.

"Don't do this." Victoria said at once as she saw how scared Nia looked, of the possibility as Jordan's eyes flashed brightly at the words. "Jordan?" She asked.

"Yeah?" Jordan asked uneasily, not really sure that she was ready to take on a Class Five Electric in Connor Reed and whatever the hell class that Garrett was, of a TK.

"Take Nia out to the car and go." Victoria ordered calmly and Connor was turning to look at Victoria, who was shaking her head at the sight of him holding the gun. "Now!"

Jordan was grabbing Nia and Victoria was facing off with Garrett and Connor, whose eyes glowed with electricity. "You'll have to get through me first." Victoria said coldly as her eyes flashed and the pipes around them, they burst all at once.

The floor rumbled and then geysers of everything from sewage to oil, water to grease were all exploding from all around them.

Garrett's hand shot out and Victoria was suddenly choking on nothing, before her focus narrowed and Garrett was suddenly being surrounded by a sphere of water.

The pressure on her throat lessened immediately, but she found herself suddenly unable to move. Connor had shocked her and she hit the ground, as Garrett was back to being able to breathe properly.

"It will, kill her." She whispered hoarsely and Connor stared at her, before he walked away. Victoria struggled, trying to move but she wasn't able to.

Jordan's eyes widened as she had been struggling to get the car going, since Connor still had the keys and Jordan was shaking her head. "What the fucking hell did you do with Victoria?!" Jordan shouted at him and Connor was nodding.

"She is still alive. Just temporarily incapacitated." Connor said and silently now, Jordan was getting out of the car and she was staring at him.

"If I had known that you were going to pull something like this you son of a bitch, I would have let you die!" Jordan shouted at him and Connor looked at her, before he tucked the gun into the back of his pants. "I knew that you were going to break her all over again, I told her." At the words, Connor looked pained and Jordan looked over her shoulder at Nia.

"I don't want Victoria to die." Nia said and at the words, Jordan felt tears falling down her cheeks and she nodded. "It's okay." Nia whispered and Jordan shut her eyes, before she stepped to the side and she looked over at Connor.

"If you make her do this... We will never forgive you." Jordan murmured and Connor brushed past her, getting into the car.

Jordan ran back into the garage and she found Victoria, shuddering and twitching from the effects of the electricity.

It took ten minutes or so, but Victoria got feeling back and she was standing up with help from Jordan. "We have to go after them, we have to stop it." Victoria said and Jordan was shaking her head.

"Connor has gone off his head. We won't be able to convince him otherwise, I've already tried." Jordan said and quietly, Victoria was shaking her head.

"There's one thing that you haven't tried already." Victoria murmured quietly and Jordan's eyes narrowed, before Victoria was grabbing onto her by the arms. "Hold on."

"Oh, I hate when you do this." Jordan muttered and at the words, Victoria's eyes glowed brightly and they disappeared in a wave of water.
