She said nothing more and ran into the vortex with Jack, Miko and Raf, knowing she was in a lot of trouble at the moment. However, as they ran into the vortex, Azura shrieked as she felt a huge amount of energy surging around them. The energy pinched and zapped at her protoform, and it made her uncomfortable. Especially as it began to feel extremely hot around them, and there was a strange pressure growing.
"Um, I think we need to go back!" Azura turned to face Jack, Miko and Raf, only to barely see them due to vortex itself seemingly glowing brighter around them. "Jack! Miko! Raf! Can you guys hear me?!"
"We can't go back! It's blocked!" Rafael shouted in a panic. "Ugh, my ears!"
Jack reached out and waved his arm around until he found Azura's arm and pulled her closer. "Stay together! Something's must be happening due to the ground bridge vortexes being so close together!" Azura nodded as Jack grabbed Raf to pull him closer. "Hold tight!"
The surge continued to grow in strength around them. The crystal began to vibrate in her chassis, and it glowed, almost like a warning, as the energy around them grew. Azura closed her optics as she clung to Jack fearfully. All four of them were huddled until the surge suddenly imploded. They were sent flying backwards and they land hard on the ground, almost getting themselves knocked out.
Azura groaned as she felt weird vibrations through her body, and it was making her extremely uncomfortable. She opened her optics and blinked as her vision was blurry. She rubbed her forehead, sitting up slightly as she looked around the area. Something felt wrong, and she knew it. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she was struggling to focus, and she began to hear a strange ringing in her processor. She rubbed her head with a groan as she was feeling a sense of growing discomfort.
Jack, Miko and Raf were groaning as they were also recovering from the implosion. "Everyone okay?" Jack asked as he rubbed his head.
"Yeah..." Rafael shook his head and adjusted his glasses. "I think so."
Jack looked at Azura as they heard her suddenly purging over the ground. Miko grimaced and looked away as it seemed that the partially digested energon that Azura had ingested earlier had turned into a thickened bile, and it didn't look pretty. Jack placed his hand on her back, and the sparkling flinched, and he realized her body seemed to be hot to the touch. That did make him a little worried.
The kids look up at the autobots, and saw that they had been knocked off their feet as well. Azura managed to turn her head slightly, though her head felt weird and her blurry vision began to seem more like a white screen from a TV, and the crystal on her chassis was still vibrating and it began to pulse lightly as well. Whatever has happened with the ground bridges, is affecting Azura in a negative way it would seem.
Bulkhead groaned loudly as the bots get onto their feet. "Uggghh...wh...what just happened?" He glanced around in confusion, as they were all recovering from whatever happened with the ground bridges.
Ratchet grumbled lightly, blinking while the autobots look at each other. "I can't be certain, but if two ground bridges sent to the same coordinates cross streams, the feedback could have triggered a system overload."
"Could?!" Miko glared at the autobots as she was frustrated at them already. "Hello! More like totally did!"
"The kids made it through, right?" Bulkhead questioned, glancing around worryingly.
The kids were all confused. Jack stood up, looking at the autobots in confusion. "What's he talking about?"
Miko walked closer to Bulkhead with a frown on her face and looked up at him. "Bulkhead, we're right here!"
