Sorry this chapter has taken so long. I can't believe this story is almost over. I'm thinking two more chapters with maybe a short epilogue. This chapter ended up being longer than the others so I split it up. I hope you like it. Let me know what your think! - Amanda

Sonny's phone rang twice before he heard Alexis, her voice still deep in sleep ask,
"Is it the girls?"
He ran his hand through her hair, kissing her cheek.
"The girls are fine." He whispered, before pulling on his shirt and stepping out on the deck.
Sonny answered the call on the 4th ring.
12:15 AM.
"Hey. Everything okay?"
It was his youngest son's ringtone, but not his voice that greeted him. What he didn't expect to hear was crying.
"Who is this? I can't understand ... just take a minute ... calm down ... breathe." Sonny glanced through the window at Alexis, the moonlight shining light on her face in the bed.
"Can you try again? Mia? You're Morgan's friend? He's hurt? Yeah. Of course. I'll be right there."
He grabbed his shoes, slipping them on his feet. He would tie them in the car.
Sonny grabbed a piece of paper from the drawer in Alexis' nightstand, writing her a quick note.
He kissed her, knowing she wouldn't hear, and still whispered close to her ear.
"I'll be back as soon as I can."
When he shut the door to her room, she was still sleeping peacefully.
"Francis, let's go. I need to get to the Greystone in record time."
Sonny locked Alexis' door with the spare key and slipped it back into its hiding place.
Running to the car and getting into the back seat.
He was worried for his son and deeply concerned about leaving Alexis alone.
Sonny knew she would understand, but that a small part of her wouldn't want him to go, and that she would let that small part of her feel guilty as much as she didn't want to admit it.
He knew her.
Hopefully, the words he wrote would help.
Sonny began to dial a number into his cell as Francis turned the car around and headed away from Alexis' home.
"Milo, It's Sonny. I know this is your weekend off, but I need a favor. I'll pay you double. I need you at Alexis's lake house. Hopefully, I'll be back before she wakes up, but just in case. Yeah, she's sick. I need you to keep whatever you see or hear while you're there to yourself. If she needs anything you can call me or if there's an emergency, get Epiphany. I suspect you have her number. Good. Thank you. I'll check in soon.""Morgan Corinthos?" The officer inquired as he pushed back the curtain to the ER room where the 14 year old was lying quietly, his face turned away from the new visitor. "Excuse me, are you Morgan Corinthos?" When the teen didn't turn toward him, he walked to the other side of the bed where he could tell that he'd woken him.
"I need to ask you a few questions."
"My-my Dad will be right back."
"It's ok. It's just a few standard questions."
"Do you have a motorcycle license?"
"Sir. If you'll just wait a minute my Dad stepped out to get coffee. He'll be -"
