Chapter 89

"Whatever the future holds for her, Optimus, I am sure you will be there to guide her. At least you have experience of what it is like to be bestowed upon. She was born with it." Optimus knew that. His experience of becoming a Prime definitely took time for him to learn, and he has learned a lot. And he knew he had a lot of wisdom that he could pass onto Azura, and it will be beneficial. He just didn't have the same abilities as her. "I think today will be a good day for you and her."

"I believe that too, Arcee. I believe Azura and Jack will be done in about a half hour." Optimus was considering of going into Azura's nursery soon, but he would wait. "I intend on doing a few things with her too."

"Oh? Like what?" Arcee was intrigued as Azura would usually find something, especially as she got distracted quite easily. "I won't tell her, but I am quite curious."

Optimus smile widened as he thought about the plans he had for the day. "One of the plans include a game of Hide and Seek, as she loved it the last time we played it. After that I plan on spending time by the ocean. Haven't worked out the full details, but I have no doubt that it will be a good time for both of us."

"I see. Sounds like Azura is going to have a lot of fun." Arcee turned to give Optimus space. "We will make sure that you and Azura get the time you need together. If an issue arises, we will ensure that we can try to deal with it and we will not bother you unless we need to."

"Thank you, Arcee. While I understand that something could happen, I will appreciate that you and the other autobots will deal with any issues that may arise. But I will hope that there will be none." Arcee nodded in agreement and Optimus walked towards the hallway to make his way towards the nursery. "I best go and see what Azura has done to her tanks."

Arcee chuckled softly. "I imagine they will look rather amazing."

Optimus nodded as he proceeded down the hallway to the sparkling's nursery. He knew that she and Jack were almost done due to listening through the monitor, so he was expecting to see some very pretty tanks. At least her current fish have not perished at this time, so that was good. She still took such good care of the tanks, even though she was getting bigger. It was something she still got up and checked every single day, and the tanks gave her a sense of fulfilment. And responsibility. He already knew that the tanks would be pretty, and she was a very creative sparkling, so he knew that she would have put a lot of effort in decorating the tanks, with Jack making some suggestions as well.

He walked in the nursery quietly, and Azura noticed him, and she waved excitedly. "Hey, daddy! I hope we aren't taking too much time, but what do you think of the tanks? All the old green plants are gone, now they have different colours in the tanks. And Jack also brought me some other ornaments, like a new sunken ship, a mermaid statue and a stone archway."

Optimus walked over and knelt down carefully, leaning down as he looked at the tanks. Azura was not wrong. The plants she had put in them were of different shapes and sizes, and they were pink, purple, bright blue, yellow, orange and bright red, and she has ensured each tank had a different style to suit the new ornaments as well. It was lovely. And Azura was adding some stuff to the tanks to ensure that the fish would be okay, as they were a bit stressed from the removal and adding of the fake plants and ornaments.

"They are wonderful, Azura. You have done a fantastic job. You both have." Jack smiled as he appreciated the compliment for him, even though Azura did most of the work. Azura giggled as she was happy with how the tanks have turned out and turned to Optimus as he looked down at her. "I also would not worry about today, Azura. You and I still have plenty of time to spend together. Especially since I have a surprise for you, and I am sure you will like it."

"A surprise?" Azura was immediately curious and she leaned a little to whisper to Jack. "I don't suppose you know what the surprise might be? Even if you just gave me a hint."
